Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesCheck-in was a little clunky, but I think the clerk was new to the job, so not a big deal. Friendly staff overall.
The location is perfect: right downtown, very walkable to local businesses and the river trails. There is free parking in the back.

United KingdomWe had two rooms connected via a common bathroom, however at check-in we were told that doors needed to remain shut after a shower to avoid setting off fire alarm - because no extractor fan is installed in the bathroom. Bannister on stairs is very low (below waist height) thus does not provide effective protection from a fall.
Great location and easy parking.

United StatesBeing an old building? Lots of light leakage in gaps around door, noisy window a/c. Breakfast is packaged muffins, like low-budget Quality Inn.
Great location, quaint atmosphere.

United StatesYou can't check in after 8pm since the desk is unstaffed. They claim that they've informed all the booking sites, yet they are still, so beware (I arrived at 9pm after booking my reservations the same night, so I had to scramble and find an alternative place to stay). Rooms are nice given the price, but floors are squeaky, hallway floors are uneven.
Excellent location, nice historic building. Adequate parking in the back, so that's not an issue.

CanadaStairs were difficult so if you have any mobility issues ask for lower level room. Breakfast was all sugar. Cookies, cakes, muffins, yogurt and sweet cereal. They were all delicious but would really benefit from addition of even simple boiled eggs. Rooms are tiny and we did not get room we actually booked. We booked a kitchenette but got regular connected room with shared bathroom for our family of 4. On checkout we got charged 312$ extra that we had to call the in-keeper to refund.
Excellent location. Charming old hotel. Rooms were very clean. Since heating is old the hotel provides a nice plug in heater that works great. Dinner juicy down the street is your best option for food. DELICIOUS old fashioned authentic American fare.

United StatesBreakfast was prepackaged muffins, pastries. Would have loved toast or waffles, scrambled eggs. Only other thing was the strong use of fabuloso… it felt like we breathed it all night long. Room was clean just too much chemical smell..
The old style inn was enchanting.. manager moved us to a room with a sofa which was nice.

GermanyWe had a room with a kitchenette, and there was some leftover food in a polystytene container in the fridge, luckily there was a cleaners cart in the corridor so we put in in their trash bag, but this made us a little worried about how well our room had been cleaned
The room was large, the breakfast was basic but had nice sweet treats, the location of the hotel is great for enjoying Littleton.

United StatesI didn't know when I booked that the bar restaurant would be closed. I think they could put an exhaust fan in the bathroom (it's an outside wall) instead of warning me that the fire alarm will go off if I leave the door open after shower. Also, my particular room was the furthest point from the boiler so mid afternoon shower (when hot water was not called by other guests) required - no exaggeration - 5 minutes for the hot water to get all the way to me.
Great staff, quaint room - I understand it's a historic building brought up to suit modern needs. Loved the location, the charm, easy parking, the novelty of using a physical, mechanical key for my room!
