Located at the very beginning of the Strip, which means a lot of walking. Extremely overpriced for what it is, with all the resort fees I ended up paying almost three times the advertised rate. Rooms are clean but outdated, and there is no fridge unless you pay extra. Food prices inside the hotel are outrageously high. Vegas used to be affordable so people would spend money in the casino… not anymore. No surprise tourism is going down.

The only downsides i can think of would be the fact that the deposit is quite high on a per day basis and the hotel can be quite hard getting used to in terms of walking around.

Location wise, it makes this a superb spot for anyone wanting to travel to Las Vegas for a bit. The amenities were alright and overall a lovely aesthetic inside.

No cart to take luggage to rooms - inexcusable attempt to oblige use of valet parking. Very petty. No fridge, microwave or coffee machine. Pathetic attempt to make people spend money. Very disappointing.

Wish the room came with a microwave and small fridge. I also would have greatly appreciated the staff telling us about the elevators going sideways, instead of assuming we were automatically read the sign. It was a bit nerving when we felt the elevator shift and instead of showing the # of flights, it just showed "EZ." As a first-time guest at the Luxor, I wish this would have been informed to us at check in.

Room was spacious and pleasant. I liked the desk and chairs. The beds were comfortable, and the room had a pleasant smell.

Location was great as we were attending an event at the hotel next door.

They run out of the room we had booked and so they offered an upgrade - but what they didn’t say is that they were moving us from the tower (newer building) to the pyramid (older). The static from the carpets meant we got electric shocks every time we tried to open a door or call the elevator. The pyramid elevator is old and shakes a lot - not for people who are scared of elevators, but otherwise not a big issue. No coffee machine in the bedroom

Decent size room with nice bathtub by the window, with a living room section. Very clean, overall quiet. Very well located. Nice swimming pool area (although not with a lot of shade unless you pay for a cabana). We went mid-August and it was not too busy at all

The air conditioner filter had to be changed. It wasn't cool enough. A guy came and fixed it. One or two of the purple elevators didn't work Worst of all -- the bathroom at the pool was not working!!! Also that you charged $170 for an umbrella in the extreme heat

I loved the decor and atmosphere of Egypt.I bought a lot in the gift shop.
