Clean room Comfortable bed tile floors (carpets are no bueno in my opinion). Large bathroom and large shower.

Nothing really. Everything was pretty cool. Parking lot was a little tight, but that's only because i have a big diesel truck haha. If you're just in a regular car, you'll be absolutely fine.

The M Malibu is right off PCH, and i got lucky and got the room facing PCH AND the beach. It was really cool to be able to just look out and see water. Everything i needed was located within 1.5 miles. From gas station, to fine dining. It's actually a really cool little cozy hidden spot to just hang out and you can just cross the street and you're at the water. The staff there is great too, unfortunately i had to cut my trip short by a day, and booking.com doesn't do refunds. So the front desk guy (which i believe is actually the owner) said he would just do some sort of voucher for one free night within the next year. I thought that was really cool being that he didn't have to do that. Seems like they really care about their customers and making sure they want to come back again.

Great location to enjoy Malibu landscapes! the beach and the Malibu Pier are reachable by walk. The outdoor swimming pool makes the location super cool! I really appreciated Diamond from the stuff, so welcoming and helpful! I will definitely choose the M Malibu for my next trip to LA

It's pretty pricey for what it is (I guess you're paying for location) -- very simple motel that has modest renovations to make it look more up-to-date. It was fine, but pretty basic.

The hotel is in a convenient location. The staff at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. The place was clean and parking was easy. It had a TV with basic cable and the bed was decently comfortable.

On PCH so lots of noise, also very thin walls, so lots of noise from neighbours snoring and talking . Also fairly cold at night for me.

Poor communication with staff. Whomever was responding to my requests over text was very unprofessional. They didn’t have any customer service skills. Also, I asked for fresh towels and they never came.

Location by the beach is unbeatable - and it’s a nice quiet stretch of the beach. The staff were welcoming and responsive, sorting out a late check in for me. Perfect distance from LA to get to easily and feel like you’ve left the city.

The M was cute and clean too! My fiance and I just decided randomly to spend the night in Malibu for fun. Located right on coasy highway, good price for your money if you want a quick little Malibu trip. The reviews made me laugh cause people said it was so loud outside. I mean... it was a little but not terrible. So if you're a light sleeper, then I would say this isn't your place. I wouldn't say it was horrible, the hotel gives you ear plugs if needed. I used them and I was fine. My fiance slept like a baby.

Self check in as phone reception is spotty there. It’s pricey and not in their control is the sidewalks are busted up walking to the pier.

Arrived and was allowed to check in early. The location is perfect - right opposite the beach, next to the famous Nobu restaurant and a short walk to Malibu pier. A beautiful part of the world!

The noise and I was unable to close the window that I opened to air the room out when I first entered. Two windows I could not open since there were no cranks.

It was quaint and clean. I liked the balcony.

The room was hot when we arrived and we couldn't get the air conditioner to work. Opening the window brought some relief, but also noise from PCH.

The shower was lovely and the bed most comfortable.

I didn't like that the AC unit didn't work, it wasn't that hot but I would have liked to use the fan. Loud traffic all day.i did wake up at 2am and could hear The ocean waves which was nice. The bathroom shower needs some draino and a really good scrub.

I like that it was in walking distance to the pier, and restaurants or a short drive away. It's very safe area and felt safe with my son and I. The fridge was nice and the espresso machine.

There were a few broken patio lights, it would be nicer to walk up there if there was more lightning. Also the bed needs to be replaced or fixed. If you guys implemented a microwave in your office during operational hours would also make the stay better.

Beach is across the street. Very nice view from the lookout at the property. Pool was great. We also like the privacy of the place, clean and neat.
