Beds were too soft our backs were destroyed after our stay. Pillows were too big, our necks were destroyed. Kitchen was dirty.

The fold out couch in the living room was extremely uncomfortable. We were given a complimentary night for the inconvenience.

Highway traffic can be loud. Upstairs neighbor had very heavy feet and banged around every night around 11 pm

Sofa couch was broken. I struggled to pull the bed out and put it back in. Plus there was a very strong smell in the front room. I'm glad I brought Lysol spray.

I like the size of the room and the accommodations.

Elevator is bit tricky

Property is old but very peaceful. Just 10 minutes drive from Golden Gate and other MUIR woods. Overall Good stay.

The floors had terrible acoustics - we could hear the guests above us walking around their room at night and in the morning. When we walked, our footsteps also reverberated so it seems like a building design problem. We could also hear people coughing and talking from our bedrooms, so sound insulation was poor. The overhead fan wasn't working.

Location was close to the Golden Gate Bridge scenic overview. Bedrooms were spacious, and the air-conditioner was powerful (albeit noisy). Staff at counter was very friendly. Products (coffee, soaps, complimentary water) all felt premium.

The location for this facility looks poor, old, dirty, a little unsafe. I think the outside gives a poor first impression and probably colored our impression of the room.

The old house smell

Very well kept facility, very clean and the staff were all very friendly. The pool area was nice and clean. The only knock on the facility is that it is a bit dated and has an old house smell and they should probably update to smart TV's. The room was large and had very comfortable beds. We liked the retro room but the smell not so much! That being said we would definitely stay with them again.

Hotel was old and had a smell to the room. Carpet and furnishings were outdated but had a bit of a retro feel. Ice machine broken and only one in the whole hotel.

Pool, hot tub and outside amenities were great. Room was spacious and well stocked.

Kitchen appliances are a bit dated. We had trouble with the stovetop coils not working properly. One of the sliding doors in the bedroom closet was missing.

Love the courtyard feel with the pool, hot tub, greenery, sanctuary, and play area. Convenient location within walking distance to a trader joes, world market, restaurants, and great coffee. Also a good home base for exploring Marin county in general. Rooms were just the right size for our family of five and were very comfortable. It felt like home for a few days.

Bed was too firm for my liking. I suspect the hotel is a renovated Apartment building and in need of sound proofing between floors.

Spacious king room with small apt. Size kitchen. The exterior is great with a pool area and second area of garden. Great location. Close to Sausalito for taking the ferry to San Francisco for the day.

Definitely worn down and didn’t feel very clean. No soap in the shower or the sink. Bed was not comfortable and the walls were so then, it was loud. Lots of walking above and squeaking bed from the room above us (lol), not sure how you would sleep through that

The service of both folks I spoke to was amazing, friendly, clear and concise, easy communication for check in and out! The gym/sauna/pool was a nice amenity.

My only issue is that the landscaping crew started using noisy equipment at 7:45am. I like to sleep a bit longer than that.

The room was great. I liked that there is a kitchenette as well as a microwave. The room was always taken care of by the staff and at hours that did not disturb me.

I definitely made sure the bedroom door was locked and bolted at night. Access to the hotel courtyards and corridors is not security restricted to guests only so anyone can walk around the grounds. That said I think there was a security guard on duty and it was a fairly quiet area so there were not loads of people around. Some of the other hotel guests did seem a bit sketchy though so I'd be worried if a female traveller was staying here alone. As a male though I felt ok with some sensible precautions.

The room / suite was extremely large and comfortable. Everything was clean and working well. There is a surprisingly nice pool and courtyard areas. If you are looking for a location just outside the city with free parking then I would recommend this.

Having been there a few times over a 3 week period we had different rooms. All were very similar but some were very noisy from traffic. Highly recommend getting new windows double pane. The kitchen is great but limited kitchen essentials. Maybe have on hand for people to sign out as some guest I meet stay a long time!

It was an excellent location for our needs to assist a friend in Marin General Hospital. Staff were exceptional and professional. Always helpful with a quick response. Rooms are comfortable and large.
