Fresh food at breakfast and less sugary, carby stuff would have been nice. I asked for a packet of unflavored oatmeal and the lovely kitchen guy told me that I was the first to ask for the plain kind. A function of the area. The hotel is tired - the hallway carpets old and dirty. Independently owned as part of the corporate chain, so it must be difficult to find the funds to upgrade in a place like Fargo. But, it was still a comfortable place to stay and they are trying hard to be a hotel in a remote area.

Good location, nice staff, adequate, not anything less than I had expected from the woodchipper city. The fitness center was surprisingly well outfitted. Good location, easy to get to and plenty of parking. The bathroom needed a new hair dryer and shower curtain and they were replaced immediately (thank you Riley at the desk). Quiet.

Seemed understaffed. I felt bad for the poor person who checked us in (seemed very tired), but check in/out took longer than expected due to having to charge my card multiple times for different things. Also my card got charged 3 times for 2 rooms. Asked front desk during check out, they replied "it's just a hold, it'll be refunded soon" It was refunded 2 weeks later. But I also got an additional $90 charge 2 days later for no reason? I'll assume the excuse is "pet cleaning" but I'll be damned if I don't clean up WELL after my pets.

It was perfect for my mom who has a walker. She would request a lower bed for seniors/ accessibility rooms.

The cheap poor quality pillows. Will bring our own next time! It was as if old pillows were cut up to make smaller ones, that offered zero support for your head. The other thing was that the hotel had no butter or milk early during the breakfast hours and the staff told us they ran out and were expecting a delivery within the next few days. Could they not pick some up at the store?

There were some repairs that needed attending to - i.e., the wedge under the toilet stool, and faulty drain mechanisms regarding tub and shower.

The location was absolutely superb! Could not have been handier - a 2 minute commute. The staff, from front desk management to the housekeeping ladies and gentlemen, were marvelous. A wonderfully quiet hotel.

Luggage cart broken, carpet ripped in hallway, dirty towel hanging in the bathroom from previous guest. We were charged $250 for a broken picture after we had checked out. It was nearly impossible to contact the hotel manager for an explanation. After finally getting a hold of her, we told her nothing was broken when we checked out of our room. She said she believed her housekeeper. She said she would check into it further and never got back to us. Extremely disappointing and will not stay at this property again.

The room was set at 66 and we could not change the temperature. The evening staff tried to help but was unsuccessful. I said I was unhappy so we were given another room, which was not much better. We did get the heat to 69. This is not acceptable. I will not be telling my friends to stay here

Hot tub was out of order, toilet in the room kept running water, we fixed it. The bathroom light was burned out, the fridge was not plugged in, we fixed that, and the room temperature was weird at times so cold, and then it would get too warm. The room seemed stuffy like there was no fresh air coming in at all
