Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesThe breakfast buffet was good. However, it was $17 per person, and it was the same food items as other hotels we've stayed at that included breakfast at no charge. You had to have elite status to get free coffee or tea.

United StatesAn unexpected event came up during our stay. When I inquired about availability for another night I was told I would have to go back online to get another room for the night. When I asked the manager if he could just check the availability of a room he told me it would cost 200 dollars plus the room if available. He was not friendly or helpful at all. I ended up having to book a room at another hotel.

United StatesKids baseball teams everywhere. Parents sitting around outside talking loudly and drinking and not supervising children. We wanted to sit outside and relax and children were running around screaming, throwing things into the pond at ducks and running around.

The staff was great. Classic Marriott customer service, which is always a great experience. The hotel was very nice, with a decent restaurant and bar. The suite was beautiful. Best part was the deluxe bathroom and in-room garment steamer.

United StatesThe room and rate I booked through Booking.com did not come through to your reservation software and while I showed my receipt with the room and rate I booked, the reception did not want to honor it until I pushed back a bit harder. It was awkward and uncomfortable. The room we ended up w didn’t have bedding for sofa bed - which was explicitly clear that we needed and the room the bed had candy in it - clearly not cleaned from last guest.

United StatesThe door to the bathroom swung into the room wrong and made it hard to move around. It was just a little awkward.
The food was really excellent. Service in the restaurant was excellent as well. Everything was very clean and the pool area was full of windows with beautiful landscape/fountain outside. The restaurant had live music on Friday night and brought great energy.

My daughter was married in 2017 at the Minneapolis Marriott Southwest. It brought back many good memories. Oh, and the short ribs for dinner last night were excellent! My original hotel I had booked for Saturday - Sunday overbooked my reservation and I was forced to find another hotel fast. Minneapolis Marriott Southwest came though immediately when I called them looking for a new place to spend the night. THANK YOU MMS!!!
