Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesIt would have been nice if the room had had a chair. It made it difficult to eat a meal there. Also I noticed there were a few ants. Not an infestation by any means but something that the owner should keep an eye on.
The hotel is a good value for the amount. I expected it to be very basic, which it was, but it was clean and comfortable.

United KingdomThere were some stains on the sheets. The chair in the room was broken so I almost fell off it when I sat down. The loo seat was broken too but just about did the job. The guy at the front desk rang me in my room about 15 minutes after I arrived to ask that I be careful not to knock the TV off the wall with my "big guitar" (it was a cello). When I politely informed the front desk clerk in the morning as I checked out about the loo seat and the chair, he seemed a little annoyed by the comment. Look: it's a low effort property. If you are going to be bothered by that, I wouldn't stay there. If not, it's a helpfully located, competitively priced place to stay when your airline screws up your booking from JFK late at night and you need a place to stay.
There was a bed, a bathroom and both were fairly comfortable. I slept well. The front desk was helpful and prompt in checking me in. The room was uncomfortably warm when I arrived but the AC worked quickly and well.

United StatesLocation is a 1/10. Too small, basics only. So small that to close or open bathroom door you almost have to get into shower. No iron nor iron board, no closet. Bed too soft for my liking.
Very clean. If all you need is a bed and a shower, this is an option.

United StatesDo your research before you book! Located in “the murder capital of New York”. We got there at midnight after along day of travel and the front desk employee made us wait 20 minutes in the lobby to get the key while he ran about doing tasks. The junky staying in the room next to us to proceeded to scream and argue with himself all night, way past 4am. At 6am a woman staying in the hotel performed a poorly executed, top of her lungs, personal musical in the hall way! We paid in advance but also had to leave a $50 deposit that we didn’t know about until we got there. The sign said every guest had to leave $100 deposit!!! There was only one towel and the shower door wouldn’t stay closed. Fixtures where were falling off the walls, and there are no lights in the living area. Oh and if you love the projects you have a great view of them out of your window. All I’m saying is if you want a true Brooklyn, New York experience this is the place for you.

United StatesThe bathroom was too small, and we didn't have any rags in our bathroom. They tissue holder needed to be repaired as the tissue role would slide off because the holder was missing a nail. The hallway had a horrible smell, like something died in that hall. Couldn't get but two channels, the others were available, but when you turn, it would state no signal, so I assume those channels did not work. They didn't have any snacks of choice a person would like to buy. They charge $2 for a can soda, which is way too high. Also, the windows were closed, but cold air was seeping through the window, and the head of the bed was where the window was.
Nothing.

CanadaLock on door didn't work. Relied on key card to keep door closed. Neighbors were playing music loudly till 5am. Bring ear plugs just in case, because this seems like a reoccurring thing. Floor smelt like cigarettes. Smell didn't bleed into the room much, but still had a hint of the smell. A/C unit had a sour smell as well. With minimal control, kept it off for the stay. There are hostels with a better quality stay closer to the city for the same price.
Area is a little sketchy at night, but fine during the day. Was able to leave luggage early in the morning in lieu of an early check in. About 45-60 minutes to the city, a good cheap alternative.
