Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I wish there was a better breakfast. It needs to be more clear that when "breakfast is included" that it is a Continental breakfast. I do wish there was a microwave in the room as well.
I have never felt more welcomed when I checked in. The room was so spacious!! The whirlpool tub and shower were amazing! Due to the location, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go which I loved!

Quiet, nicely decorated. Comfortable spacious room and great view of the river and pelicans. Convenient to visit my family. Staff all very kind and helpful.

EVERYTHING! Wonderful staff - in particular David, big room with a fantastic view of the water and pelicans, comfortable bed, nice toiletries provided and their adjoining bar and restaurant was a wonderful night out

I don’t like scented toiletries or chemical aromatherapy which I think was in the hallways to the rooms.

It was a little hard to regulate the heat in the room.It wasn't a big deal though since I like it warm.
The staff is the best ever. I was traveling alone and locked myself out of my room and they were so helpful in getting me back in while reassuring me it was no big deal.

I received a phone call before I left home with the staff just checking in and giving instructions in case we had to check in late. Upon arrival I was informed that the hotel was quiet that weekend and so they upgraded us to a bigger room with a view of the river. What a wonderful surprise.

Honestly, nothing. It was a perfect hotel visit. I was born and raised in De Pere and my mom still lives here. When my sister and I come to town, we don’t have enough beds for us and all the kids so we decided to get a room. We will stay here each time we visit now! It was such a great experience.
The gentleman who works the desk is a gem! He’s so welcoming and kind! Great place to stay. I will definitely stay next time we come to town!

Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, thick dust on the brass headboard of the bed. Suite felt rather sparse for furniture. I don’t care how fancy it is, but a little more decor and more of a cozy feel from the furnishings would be a big help.
Staff was wonderful. Loved that we could walk into the restaurant. Of course love the location. Really enjoyed large windows that opened!

The television didn't have great resolution. Plusher towels would be nice.
Beautiful hotel with its cream city brick, very large suite with fireplace. Comfortable bed, sofa, and chairs. Liked river view and access to walking paths along river. Great location to restaurants. Classy place at a great value.

The hotel wasn't full... would have been nice to have received a room that faced that amazing river view next to the hotel and not our parking lot... the shower was also a little bit small (but the bathroom was huge!).
The staff is excellent! My wife wasn't feeling good and she needs a fan when that happens. We didn't bring one... and it was late and there not any stores open. He hand delivered a fan to our room at 1am! This totally saved the trip for us!

Absolutely loved every second of my stay at Nuks. David at the front desk is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and had great recommendations for fun things to do locally. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious and had a gorgeous view of the river, and the breakfast was delicious with great variety. I cannot recommend this property enough
