It was difficult to get an hold of staff. Every time I called the office with a question, I was sent to voicemail. I had wanted sheets for the pull out sofa, but each time I went to the office it was closed (even during their listed office hours). I ended up buying sheets from Walmart. The pool was adequate size and often empty which was nice, but there was no shade and some of the pool chairs were falling apart. Lastly, you are only given 1 towel per person. I (as a women) typically use a body towel and a hair towel. There was no foot towel or beach towels, so I had to buy some extra towels at Walmart. A few more towels would have been nice. Aside from these few negatives, our queen suite was adorable and we had a great time. I would definitely stay at Oasis Palms again 🙂.

Great value! Across the street from the beach, easy access. Nearby restaurants and shopping. Recently remodeled rooms, very nicely decorated. Pool and laundry on site. Clean and quiet.

Place needs to be updated on repairs. 2 kitchen drawers broken. Ceiling leaking in one bedroom with the rain. I did not like that they don’t provide replacement towels. I have never stayed somewhere that doesn’t replace towels. Thankfully I brought several of my own. But I would have brought more if I knew this. Also no extra blankets, pillows in room. If you stay here bring everything you need toilet paper, soap, towels, dish soap. Nothing is provided.

For it being an older building the updates are nice! The theme and colors are super cute! Loved the chairs outside the rooms. Right across the street from the beach, and down the road from popular restaurants/bars. The staff was very pleasant as well.

My reservations fell through two nights prior to our trip so I did not have a lot of options available. I chose oasis palms because it appeared to have been remodeled and in decent shape. The actual space was fine and it was nice that it had all been updated but it was filthy upon our arrival. There was so much dirt and hair all throughout the unit and in the shower. We arrived in the middle of the night and until we were on our way to the actual hotel, I had no idea how to get inside the unit because this information wasn’t shared until I sent a message late that night. Also when we arrived, there were only two pillows available to the three of us, and no bedding for the pull out couch. My daughter had to sleep on the pull out couch on top of our beach towels, and cover up with beach towels. I feel like this should have been readily available inside our unit prior to us arriving. There was a huge closet but no hangers to hang clothes, and there was also not an iron to use during our stay. I know they’re in the process of updating all of the units and I am sure over time will have all of the amenities available, but these two items are something they should definitely consider. We knew another family who was also staying here at the same time and they had a closet full of pillows and sheets and blankets. I do not know why ours did not. The floors were absolutely disgusting and when I asked that they be swept, they did come and sweep but I had to scrub them myself for them to feel clean. There were also tiny bugs in the kitchen and bathroom, and no matter how many times I wiped them up, they would reappear. Staff was very quick to answer my requests and I appreciate that, but I would not stay here again.

Booking.com did not forward my reservation to the hotel. I was extremely lucky to have a room. A couple ahead of me were unable to use their room due to handicap issues. If they were able to use the room, I would have been stuck on New Years Eve trying to find a room. This is twice I've had issues with Booking.com reservations. I'll not be using your services in the future.

There was some people outside of our room downstairs that talked most of the night/morning loud one night and our last night there was one guy being super loud on the phone. The shower head also would spray outside of the shower everywhere so if we wanted to use the bathroom after a shower we had to wipe the toilet seat off or put a towel to wipe the floors to go in there. They also don’t give you more towels so we got beach towels and had to use those from the office for our shower towels so we wouldn’t have to do our own laundry.

The lady on staff picked up the phone right away and let us check in earlier with our arrival before the 4pm check in. Room was a perfect size for two of us, and it came equipped with a fridge/microwave. The pool was amazing to walk right out into and location was within walkable distance of the beach/other shops/food places.

The room was never cool enough. Thermostat never showed below 78. They did check it and said it was working but said the temperature reading was incorrect. The unit was a little froze up, but that’s it. Killed a couple bugs, took picture of one. Big spider in one bedroom we missed so we closed off that bedroom and put a towel in front of that door. The pool deck was dirty both days we were there and the pool itself had something black in the bottom of the pool in 3 different spots on both days we used the pool. We had stayed at this motel 3 years ago and were very satisfied. This time, not so much.

Accepting it was a budget property the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly leaving stuff from previous users and there were no cups ( even a plastic one) to get water. The outside was uninviting with empty beer cans and cigarette butts left around.

Leftover food in the fridge, used towels hanging on back of bathroom door. Had to move the bed to get to the only outlet in the bedroom to charge phones. Needs bedside lamps with USB ports.
