Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesOnly complain is the bed - uncomfortable pillows, and this trend of no sheet but only a comforter on top makes for either hot or cold nights.
This location was perfect for our needs, in a very nice neighborhood. All the staff were helpful, especially Lenny the doorman, who greeted us every time we returned and made sure we had a car to the airport on time. Our room was interior (quiet!), clean, with a well-laid out bathroom (a shelf for all our toiletries).

United StatesLocation, staff, beds.
From the moment we walked in all of the staff were so friendly and welcoming! Apparently the doorman is even TikTok famous! The customer service and amenities were outstanding. They upgraded our room for a small fee and gave us early check-in and we felt like kings. The bed was so comfortable I actually felt like I was sleeping at home! The location was perfect and we were steps from the shops on 5th Ave. and a short walk to Grand Central Station. It was just me and my teen daughter and we felt very safe. Would definitely stay here again!

United StatesIt was a bit pricey, but worth the effort for the quality they offer. The restaurant is too expensive for the quality of the food, but the staff there were wonderful.
Beautiful hotel, with friendly staff, and in the middle of everything. The room exceeded my expectations, and you can walk or take a short bus ride to most important places of interest.

United StatesTwo of the three elevators weren't working for the last 24 hours of my stay. It made getting to and from the room a lengthly process. We tried to have a drink one evening in the hotel bar, but left after 10 minutes w/ no waiter.
Room was extremely spacious by NYC standards. Nice decor. Clean. Every staff member I interacted with was professional and helpful.

United StatesI had stayed at this property in 2015 and loved that it was a beautiful, centrally-located NYC gem with larger rooms. I was excited to bring my family for a stay this year after this hotel had been closed for renovations for quite some time. We booked the Rockefeller Suite which was exactly the amount of space we needed, however I felt that the style and furniture were a bit dated, which was surprising because I thought this property underwent a recent renovation. The windows were dirty and we could tell the carpet had not been vacuumed thoroughly, also I had requested a refrigerator in my room previously and had to call and request again once in my room, plus tv signal went in and out. These are small touches that a 4-star property should have a grasp on. However, we did receive our complimentary water and housekeeping made up the pull-up couch nicely. Also, could not find the "terrace" that was mentioned on the website and it is actually right outside of the gym but was not inviting, no cushions were out and all furniture was pushed against the wall. All staff were very hospitable and friendly and this hotel has a lot of promise with the location. I would consider this hotel again when I want to be near Midtown and Central Park.
