Upon arrival, bathroom had hair on the floor, in the sink, and in the shower.

Historical history. Check-in & check-out process was very easy.

    Room a bit dusty

Park right out front, warm wood stove welcomes you. Sweet sauna scent to the wood in the cozy room was nice. A quiet, quaint, magical stay for a quick overnight.

The restaurant with the hotel has closed so you can’t get dinner at the hotel, but there is a lovely Mexican restaurant walking distance.

The hotel is in a really old building where nothing is in a straight line. The lounge downstairs is amazing. If you love a bit of history take a visit to this hotel! As others have said you will either love this hotel or hate it. It is very basic. The room was cold when we got in it (they ask you to switch off the heating when you leave) however it soon warmed up. The room was very small and there was no coffee maker in the room.

Nothing. It was exactly what I was expecting

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. If you’re looking for a hot shower and quiet place to rest after a long day on the trails and at a reasonable price then this is your kind of place!

Room is tiny. The bathroom is tinier and you're literally sitting against the walls when using the toilet. For the price it gets the job done, but for what you get it should be cheaper.

Property was exactly as we expected and a great value for proximity to hiking Mt. Wittenberg and Cornell. Easy check in and check out process, very clean room!, and they offered coffee and water which was nice. We were a little bummed that the on site restaurant wasn't open, but the Mexican restaurant within a few feet was a great alternative! The bed was also very noisy and not the most comfortable, but we only stayed for the 1 night. The shower area is rather small, but also not a huge deal for us as we are used to camping in our RV with similar space. There wasn't a TV in the room, but the WiFi worked great and could easily stream something through your own devices.

The attached tavern wasn't open when we were there. Not sure why as we were under the impression that it was when we booked. Turnout out to not be a huge issue as there was an excellent Mexican restaurant a few doors down.

Very cool old building and quaint little mountain town to walk around in. Two art exhibits were going nearby. The porch of the hotel was very comfortable to enjoy the beautiful Fall weather.

It didn't have a TV and the shower was a little small. No breakfast and the restaurant opens late. Rarely saw a staff member. Your key is left outside in an envelope with your name on it.

It was cozy and nice. It was an older place but had character. I did enjoy my stay. They have a bar restaurant and a store across the street. They also accommodated my early check in request.

Very small bathroom the place looks like a barn so I understand they did what they could. The water was hot and there were toiletries.

If rustic, outdoor ambiance , cabin, wood is what you want this place is perfect . It is simple no tv no microwave.

My room was very cold. Turning the radiator on didn’t do anything and the room stayed cold all night. Luckily I had my down sleeping bag with me.

The room and hotel was neat and clean. The attached restaurant was a great little place to eat. The hotel was in a great location for what I had planned.

The room is small, low ceilings, no views and the entire hotel can use a minor update or two. Overall, though, there is a lot of charm and quaintness to the venue. The bar and lounge are both very nicely decorated, warm and welcoming, and staffed by lovely people.

A great little bnb hideaway in a small and beautiful town. We barely used the room due to our excursions and the town itself has a lot of great pit stops and destinations. Use the town center across the street for planning, and ask the friendly staff for their takes on things. Do not skip the Mexican restaurant down the street-- it's amazing-- one of my top 3!

We booked online, and then received a phone call from the hotel saying that it was a holiday (4th of July) and she wanted to leave to watch the fireworks (it was 7:00 PM). So, she left our name and room number on a piece of paper in the lobby and the key to the room in the door. This was pretty unsettling as we were in an unfamiliar area. A very nice woman was in the hotel in the morning, but it is possible there was no staff there overnight.

Cute little town, but was literally empty (zero people) when we arrived (7:00 PM on 4th of July). No place to get food or even a bottle of water without driving out of town. The hotel is a very old building, and while normally we like that kind of place, this was much too run down. The lobby was comfortable and welcoming.

Both the room and the bathroom were very small, the bathroom especially so. I guess that's to be expected in an old building but folks should know that someone in a larger body might not fit comfortably in the bathroom.

The staff was friendly and helpful with finding things in the area. Linens were clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is gorgeous, there was plenty of parking across the street, and wait staff at the attached bar/restaurant were courteous and responsive.
