Smell in the room

The smell in the room , homeless I think in the hostel.. but the area is ok , but too much money for this place ☹️

gem of a place, andrew on the desk was fantastic and all people staying were super quiet and respectful, felt very relaxed and comfortable staying here.

As a female traveller I didn't like that we weren't allowed to cover the pods during the day (just for changing clothes etc)

Very cosy, quiet hours are kept to so it is not hard to sleep. Staff and other residents kind, friendly and considerate

One shower and toilet and no door on the pods. Anywhere, I’ve traveled and stayed in pods they had doors for privacy. Also, lady in the office didn’t do what she said she would do on two separate occasions which caused me some stress. I called the office to pass on the message to wash clothes for me. This never happened until I returned to the accommodation and asked myself. Manager at location said he never got the message. The same officer lady said was also meant to bring me a phone charger I left in Hollywood out to Venice Beach. She promised me she would and she forgot. I called her three times and she confirmed every time that she would bring it. I told her it was no hassle for me to get a taxi and collect it. I just don’t want to be late for my flight. She didn’t bring it. I ended up being late for my flight as I got a taxi last minute when I found out she had forgotten. This was poor and untrustworthy.

Good location people at the place were friendly facilities were adequate.

Being told that giving my email address is required to stay there. So, I guess people who don't use technology are not welcome here? Some people just do not want marketing emails. Apparently, they are also not welcome here? Seems like a terrible policy for a business to have.

I’m a Senior woman relocating from Hollywood, it was FULL of men. Thought I was in a Frat house. Unless I asked a question, Maddie, the admin, never spoke to me, even when I greeted her. I remember being a young lady and chatting with young men. It was an important “service”. I was definitely a tenant, not a guest.

Breakfast?? The pod was comfy & private. I liked that. Got a lot done with your wifi.

Location is unsafe, only one bathroom for whole hostel (about 9 beds). Two of the beds are more like pods (much smaller in size with only enough room to sleep, but at same cost which seems unfair.

Off the Hollywood Boulevard, but area felt quite unsafe at night as it’s slightly away from the busier bit (Chinese theatre, Dolby theatre)

One of the worst experiences I've faced from Podshare Hollywood, especially when pods are not maintained horrible bed bugs are there, I haven't slept properly. Because of bed bugs .place not looks like safe

They have bed bugs, rude guest, they have cameras in the bathrooms so they spy on men and women, they barely clean up the bunks, noisy and sick people with the flu, and cancer patients, they steal peoples things and throw it away.

It is my second time staying at Podshare Hollywood....the equally warm from Andy and almost all of the other guests. I am now staying a full week, until I hopefully find more permanent lodgings in Los Angeles.
