We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesI’m a man in my mid-70s and should be granted some respect at the corporate level of any company I do business with. Charging me 50.00 US deposit is insulting, annoying and created undue stress for me. Fortunately the attending front desk clerk was empathetic and calmed me down somewhat. I’ve earned the benefit of the doubt and should be shown that courtesy. I’m not a rock and roller or anything else that would indicate I presented any risk of damaging your property. I suggest you reevaluate that deposit policy of yours. It is egregious and insulting enough to make me want to look else where for out of town accommodations when required.
Got into town earlier than planned and needed a place to spend the night. In the past stayed at Red Roof in Amarillo and liked it, so I sought out Red Roof in McKinney and at the last minute. I was able to book a room in about 5 minutes (through Booking.com). Arrived about half an hour later. Was quickly checked into a quiet room as requested. Got to my room, unpacked, brushed my teeth, jumped into bed, had a terrific sleep. Woke up refreshed and ready to face the new day!

United StatesEvery day, all day running pressure washer outside the room! Very irritating and annoying. Was not possible to rest during the day at all with the constant annoying sound just shy of a jack hammer all day for three days. No designated place for pets. Lots of in/out of traffic. Party down the hall, smell of marijuana every night. Couples fighting in the parking lot all night, did barking in next door room all night. No dog clean, messes everywhere. Trash from previous guest behind bathroom door. Bathroom ceiling fan dangling from the ceiling. Bar right next door with live band every night. No peace and quiet. Very loud and front staff were all rude except one young man that was super friendly. Soda machine took my money twice, but I did get it refunded. Check out at 11 am but they start calling and knocking on door by 1030 am. Difficult time understanding staff who's English was difficult to understand. When asked to repeat, the older gentleman became very defensive and borderline rude. If you pay your deposit with cash they have to check the room before they return it. If you pay by card they say it takes 1-2 to receive back on your card. Would skip this one if given the option again
