Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The care of the hotel was sad. Smoky room, no clean towels or refreshed room for 3 days. Management was failing the hotel.
The location was fabulous. The employees we saw were really good.

I’m not sure why we were placed in a room for the handicapped. The rug needed to be replaced. The damage to the walls fixed.
Breakfast was slow due to the line for waffles. The sheets were clean. Bed was comfortable. Nice size bathroom. Clean.

At middle of the night several trains pass by waking you up.

Rooms are outdated and a bit run down. There was maintenance/construction being done during our stay which was inconvenient and a bit disturbing in terms of noise and disruptions. When checking out there was no staff around to answer questions. The room cleanliness was not the best either— we found a used/dirty sock that we assume was from the previous guest staying in the same room.
Size of the room was great. Beds were comfortable.

I didnt really like that our room key was tricky to open the room, you had to keep inserting it till it turned green that was kinda annoying. Also the fact that the hotel has limited parking, they have some trucks parked im not sure if theyre guest. But you have to get there early to get parking or they send you to the underground parking garage accross the hotel
I like the staff, the room was nice and clean and in a good area. In general the hotel is placed nicely on the colorado river which has a nice view. Everything is close to the hotel about a 5-10 min drive. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast aswell

Mattresses are old and not very comfortable. Hot tub was not working. Bed in the sofa was a nice plus but not comfortable either.parking is a hustle

It’s an older building that needs a lot of attention. The rooms are nice enough, but the key mechanisms need to be updated as you have to swipe your key several times to make it work and the one to the pool had to be manually unlocked to gain access. There was only 1 ice machine on the main floor and the cleaning product they used in the bathroom set my allergies off.
It was right on the riverside. Breakfast was great with fresh cooked eggs and sausage, waffles, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt and oatmeal. Something for everyone.

Had to get key cards replaced a couple times because they stopped working even though I kept them separate from my phone and other cards
Gorgeous location, very close to town and only a few minutes away from attractions. All staff was super kind, and it was clear they keep up with maintenance

Could have had a little more variety in the breakfast. Had no non-pork meat options in the breakfast. Also, parking is limited so when we went out on Saturday night, had to park off the compound and walk back because all spots on site were taken.
Room was comfortable, location on the river is really special. Can also see the trains go by next to the river. The bed was also comfortable. Staff was courteous in all interactions.

The common areas could use a deep cleaning: dead gnats in windowsill and dried food splatters on ceiling and wall of eating area.

I was charged more than the rate I was given on website. When I questioned it she said to contact the booking site. Staff was unhappy to be there. Was supposed to be a suite, was a room. The room had a weird smell to it!

Hot tub jets were broken and could see where the pool ceiling was needing some TLC. Rroms were stuffy and felt like the fan wasn't working up to optimal condition.
The location was great with spacious rooms and was not expecting a fridge in micro. Standard continental breakfast. Also great to have a little back porch and barbecuer for family use. Quiet room!
