Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Room smelled like stale smoke. Lots of transient living there. Awakened at midnight by fighting, yelling, screaming outside our door.

Our room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The outside of the motel could use some updating, but we were very happy with our nice room. Such a good value for a quick one-night stay!

The motel was nice. Just the bed or mattress was not comfortable at all. You felt every spring..
The price was good. Had a test at the hospital at 6 am. So it was close by.

Can use a slight remodeling. Ceiling paint was stripping and bathroom can use a better air vent because was a little bit of mold build up in shower.

The hotel is definitely showing its age, and the tub and the toilet seat were also showing their age, however they were clean. The green AstroTurf on the balcony could be removed and it would add to the curbside appeal a whole lot. It really detracts and makes you think you're staying in a dive, but then when you get in the room it's very clean and nice. But for the price I have no complaints at all!
All the linens and the towels were brand new. The breakfast was very nice and the person at the front desk was very nice.

There was a bit of an old smell in the room. The extra security chain was broken so we stacked things in front of the door for extra safety. Some one left something unwelcome on my car window overnight that I reported to Motel staff. They reported it to management. The people next to us were in and out of their truck starting it and just sitting in it several times which was loud. They ran out of waffle batter and boiled eggs, although we came in to breakfast a full hour before breakfast hour was noted to close. I would have liked either a non slip mat or a safety bar in the shower.
The breakfast was good considering the price of this lodging. They had hot waffles, cold boiled eggs, muffins, bagels and bread you could toast and packs of cereals you could make with hot water along with yohgurt butter and milk in the little fridge. The bed was very comfortable and clean. as old as the fixtures in the bathroom were they still have kept them very clean. I asked for an hour extention of check out time due to when I needed to be at my next venue and they graciously let me do that. The staff was friendly and helpful! We had a quiet good night sleep once the folks outside quit running their truck.

Television is old. Remote control doesn't work unless held near it. The backlight display was faulty and about half of the backlights remained stuck on.
Breakfast assortment was modest but decent. Coffee and juice were on tap with unlimited refills. Coffee is really good. Available 24/7.

The placement of the microwave in the bottom of the TV hutch made it awkward to use the program buttons. I would suggest units that could fit on top of the refrigerator. A second chair would also be a desirable option for two guest.
The location was close to down town and right off the interstate. The free breakfast was a great benefit.

the staff was not very nice seemed to have an attitude especially a female in the morning when was checking out. Im not sure if the coffee packets for the room makers are old but they was all tore when we opened them to make coffee.
