Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThat the gym, pool, and restaurant were all closed at all times during my three day stay. The the tv was down all three days of my stay. That the headboard of a bed was covering up a hole in the ground outside the main hotel entrance. That the ice machines had been removed from the various floors and you had to go to the hotel lobby to ask staff to find you some. That the landscape was being allowed to die. That workers on adjoining rooms woke me up twice in the morning on two separate days using their power tools. That my room key was initially keyed to someone elses room and when I tried to return it to the front desk after explaining what had happened I was told to just keep it. The key to an occupied room that was not mine...I could go on, but I won't.
It looked like it had once been very nice.

United States of AmericaIt took half an hour to check in because the front desk staff didn't know how to use the system or computer. He was slow and had to physically "check" to see if our room was clean?? That's so strange! The microwave was a piece of crap and beeped at all the wrong times...like half way through heating food. The TV had no signal the entire time. There weren't enough towels. The room was cramped.
Location was convenient for the event I was attending.

United States of AmericaThe hotel is in transition. There was a lot of construction going on, but you will never know. The pool and restaurant was closed, which was a bummer. I wished the hotel would have put this on their website. I didn't get a notice until the day before I was to travel to Phoenix. The bed was not very comfortable, but I did sleep. The first room I went to didn't have hot water, TV or a phone, so I had to change rooms. The staff was accommodating. Other than these issues, the stay was pleasant.
The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The location is on the light rail line, so it made it easy to travel to downtown without using a car. The room was nice and clean. The hotel didn't seem full, so elevator times and access to the staff was great.

United States of AmericaHot water and locks seem like baseline necessities!
The hotel is undergoing a renovation and while it was understandable that amenities like the fitness room, breakfast, pool, were unavailable none of the key card locks worked and a hotel employee had to let us in our room AND all the rooms on our floor were uninhabited but the doors were all open. We secured our deadbolt and latch and just joked that it felt like a good premise for a horror movie. The room was clean and made up nicely but there was no hot water at all, the front desk said it was a hotel-wide outage. The staff were great and very friendly but the lack of working locks and the no hot water were off putting.

United States of AmericaIt doesn’t say it on booking.com but they are apparently in a “renovation” that means they have no amenities. No breakfast, no pool, no courtyard. All of that was okay with me. I what I didn’t like is the place was really dingy and dirty. It really looks as though the original hotel went into foreclosure, and then the place just sat there for months. Now it’s been bought by Marriot and they are getting people to stay at a reduced price while they fix the place extremely slowly. The courtyard is completely over grown with grass, just like no one has maintained it for months. The carpets in the halls have stains all over them. They don’t have key cards right now so someone has to walk you to your room every time you come back and let you in. The beds feel really old. The tub had rust in the bottom. The first room they put us in the AC/heat was broken so they moved us. There were scratches on the floor and the curtains were dirty. The bed sheets looked to be brand new, but weren’t very soft… There was gum under the edge of the end table next to the bed. Overall, I appreciated the lower price but I don’t think it was low enough to be this bad to be honest.
I am guessing the price for the location was a good price. Location was great.

United States of AmericaRoom key card machine did not work so staff had to let guests into their rooms. At one point we were stranded for over 20 minutes in the hallway waiting for staff to get a key that worked. Bed was terrible. No black out curtains so when the sun came up the room was so bright you couldn’t sleep. We were there for three nights and did not have housekeeping at all. On site restaurant and bar was closed along with the pool. The landscaping had not been done in months. Looks like it may have been beautiful at one point but not kept up. Hotel was recently sold and reopened while renovating. Advertised continental breakfast. There was none. I asked for a discount because of the conditions and haggle for it. Staff tried to make the best of the circumstances but the hotel should not be open.

Got checked in went in my room very crowded too much furniture in a small space that room should have one bed for there wasn't any room for relaxing got my things organized and when it came to wanting to take a bath hot bath no.... Drain was gurgling up old hair and muck shit floating around in the water no way was I going to sit my butt in that tub other people you know what's !!!!! ..no way had to shower it sucked because I was looking forward to hot tub all day the garden area was open so no hot tubs of course I was unhappy because it was too late to book something else whare I said way too much money for absolutely nothing woke up my back hurt even more than before I went to bed 2times worse waking up on a broken sleep member bed seemed like I was sleeping in a hay loft bed ..and they said they're renovations were in progress that's why the garden was closed garden looked Great it's the rooms that's what needs to be done bet there paying people$tree four figures to renovate the hotels but someone else is going to be very unhappy owners because they are not getting anything done except in there pockets and I think the sanitation department is going to love getting a grade on that hotel owner just might get shut down or hire better quality control people Worth the money your paying them. Because I'm sorry but you should see it for your self under cover is a Great way to see how your building is being unkept and it's not going to give anyone reasons to even want to return I now I'm not for sure and I'm very unhappy for who's even ownership of the hotel it's very unlikely to get a good review when updates are that badly managed thanks for asking but sorry I had to tell it the way I resived it was not a great experience at all .
