Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There was a lot of homeless people outside and man sleeping in there car with windows open and some were drinking alcohol my family and I did not feel safe

The room was dogged out.. Wasn't very clean. And, obviously the bug situation pretty much finished me.
As soon as I walked in the room and turned on the lights, I saw bugs scurrying about on the floors and walls. They didn't appear to be only roaches either. Needless to say, my body never touched that bed.

It looked like the hotel had been under renovation but never finished. Almost everything was ran down not working or dingy. The guy at the front desk was nice and I didn’t have any issues otherwise but this place really needs an update.

The area had very questionable people roaming around. I'd say that safety wise I would not have stayed there had I been alone. The rooms dont have a latch on the door, I would recommend adding them along with the locks for extra safety. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The front desk did say that they are under rennovation, our bathroom door didnt have a door knob and there was a vent with no cover on it. Overall the room itself was not bad but the area and people roaming around the property were. Hopefully they will complete rennovation soon. I dont know if the new owners are still under the Wyndham company, after reading several reviews it seems like the rennovations have been going on for quite sometime now

There is no drinking water available even at the machine. The basin water is slow. The tub water is Clogged.

My room didn't have a fridge. The first room I was put in didn't even have heat. My toilet didn't work the sink was stopped up and housekeeping didn't clean at all the whole three days I was there . The lamps didn't even have lampshades.

the costumer service, bedroom, bed squeaked and a gun was pulled on me
i had to leave because it was so ghetto and scary and a guy pulled a gun on me. I couldn’t even stay the night and i would like a refund. the cops told me to leave cause there was a stabbing and i didn’t look like i belonged at the hotel.

They need to keep the riffraff from around there, and definitely need exterminator
Didn’t stay for breakfast this please was a dump it was Roach infested checked in at 2 o’clock that to handle some business came back to go to bed roaches everywhere refuse to stay there laugh

The true definition of a roach motel. I cut on the lights, and they scattered. It was so bad that I left early and didn't want to bother with it anymore. I will not be back.

there was bugs everywhere. the residents were outside all night long stealing cars. the police showed up a couple of time for drug dealers. worst stay ever highly not recommended !

Too many drug dealers. I have a wife that i worried about even during the day when she goes out just to get a drink or to Mcdonald's and i am disable.it could definitely be safer for people to walk out the door

I didn’t like the cold water my friends and family had to put up with. I was told we would get hot water by the next day and that never happened. The front desk could have been nicer but he was very dismissive when I reached out to him. Found multiple bugs including a dead one against the wall.

My room was infested with roaches big and small. There was no hot water during my 2 day stay. The entire place was sketchy and dirty. I ordered a non smoking room and got a smelly smoking room.
