I didn't like the fact that there's no air conditioner in the hallways when you go out in the hallway and the ice machine wasn't working other than that the visit was decent we stayed there before and we don't have a problem with it

Checked in for one night. Air conditioner wasnt working /cooling and made noise intermittently. Since it wasnt that hot outside, didnt bother much. The room was a bit more hot compared to what I am generally used to.

Rooms were large and spacious.

The breakfast needs better attention, overall breakfast was understocked and no one monitoring it to get assistance or to restock, with a poor selection of food, fruit, drinks, danishes, bacon, sausage, biscuits, and gravy. Also, the website said they have a bar but it is closed and the staff had no idea if it ever be reopened. They need to update the coffee pots in the rooms to a more convenient Keurig style that just uses pods.

Overall the staff was friendly and courteous they went out of the to be as much help as they could. The rooms were neat and clean.

It was very outdated and the refrigerator didn't work and there was a few stains on the floor.

The woodwork was amazing and it looks like original museum.

Too many one way streets to get to the hotel. We ended up in a car accident trying to figure out where in the heck to turn to get on the correct street. TOO much construction happening around hotel as well. NOT a PLEASANT experience ALL around. Breakfast left much to be desired. Eggs and some hashbrown ? Where were the breakfast sausage????Ate toast because I needed food to take medication. Will not be back even though our granddaughter goes to SVSU. Will stay somewhere else.

For the level of hotel stars and price, the room are not clean enough. Hotel is very outdated for the level it is pretending to be at, not modernized with loud AC units.

Driving and approaching the hotel from the rear of the building, we thought that the hotel wasn't even open! The property was upkept, and the windows looked like it was dark inside as if there wasn't a light on anywhere. Driving around parking lot to front, it was like, " Okay, there is the entrance. It doesn't look quite so bad now." There was a worker picking up bits of garbage in parking lot, so I thought that's positive. The hotel must have been nice back in the day. Maybe it were inthe 70's? Nice big entrance, lots of nice oak wood work , oak paneled walls. Furniture in the foyer was nice but tired. The was okay, carpet badly stained, needed a good shampoo or better yet replaced. The room was clean in the respect that it didn't stink. Just needs some detailed cleaning, like corners along baseboards. Continental breakfast was a fail. I just had a coffee. The only nice thing was the lady working, she was pleasant and funny . We ended up going to the Cracker Barrel for breakfast. The reason for our stay was that we attended the Frankenmuth Car Fest, Frakenmuth, had no vacancies, this hotel was one of the closest we could book.

Only liked one thing. Which was we ended up staying the night and resting. At first glance driving in , we really thought we were going to have to change hotels.

The breakfast was not a breakfast had scrambled eggs, potatoes, cereal, and slices of white bread. They did have two kinds of juices and coffee, but that was about it. I would love it if you could suggest offering some additional options for protein as well as fruit.

I like the Staff; it seems like it was family owned and run and I enjoy supporting small and family owned businesses.

Breakfast looked gross so we didn’t eat it. Went somewhere else. Rooms were old, mostly clean but had broken items and holes in the walls.

Dirty towel on floor behind our room's door, TV controller did not work but was replaced by desk clerk, dresser top damaged and repaired, outside entrance door next to our room had lock broken and gone so entry could be made into interior hallway by anyone, breakfast was a little sparse with "hot" food being toast, eggs, dried up potatoes or oatmeal.....and remainder being cold cereal, fruit, coffee & juice. Noisy, slamming outside door mentioned above.....next to our room.

Price, bed was comfortable..
