United StatesHad a spider web going from the ceiling to one of the beds with a dead bug on it, and not sure if there was renovation done or not but there was like wall dust or something in the corners on the floor especially the bathroom, and some dusty areas on the dresser under T.V. Overall mostly clean, cleaner then some other hotels I've recently been too.

United StatesThe room smelled funny. I purchased febreze to help eliminate the smell. When I checked in, I was asked what day housekeeping should clean my room. They showed up one day early, and called me asking me to come get my cat so they could clean. I was at work, so they had to come back on my designated day. Seems like there is poor communication between front desk and staff.
Location is convenient - easy access to tollway. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

United StatesThere were many guests that appeared to be living there long term but none were rowdy or disturbing. I found what appeared to be a bed bug the 1st night but nothing following inspection or for the rest of my stay. The standard rooms DO NOT come with microwave or refrigerator...which I assumed all hotels did...I had to upgrade for an additional charge to receive those amenities. The rooms were decent for what they were but the hotel needs some upgrading.
The staff was friendly & helpful, the hotel is conveniently located right off the expressway and is near restaurants, fairly near shopping. The area was quiet for the most part, no safety issues.

United StatesHad to check in at a kiosk even though there were people at the front desk. The TV only had a few channels and couldn't change the input on TV since they have the Clean remotes. The lights in my room were motion censored as they kept turning on in the middle of the night when I would turn in bed. It also very hard to get a hold of someone when calling them.

United StatesWe were told the day of our booking that they made a mistake and told us we need to pay 500 more. Then they shut the power off in our room and we had to call the police. Long story short they tried to bait and switch us then trespassed us from the property and didn't stay any of the 7 days we paid for. They stole the money we paid for the week after we refused to pay another 500 on top of what we paid on booking.com for the week. I hope you guys decide to refuse to do business with the Hoffman property.
