Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Low water pressure. Parking fee per day ($28) is too high. TV is a bit outdated and small (compared to other hotels)

The parking was being charged for did not feel that was right I was told it was because it was San Diego but it was a property of residence inn somehow they should rate this to a lower price onto the bill and let it be known
The only thing I was not happy about was the odor I could not remove had to open Windows and doors spent money on febreze .and still had a mildew odor in the carpet seem to have blood stains on it but all other things were fine thank you

The rooms are a little dark, dated, and dingy. Breakfast stopping at 9am on weekdays is a bit punitive for weary travelers that need a little extra sleep after a long drive.
Very nice staff. Isabella was particularly helpful in helping us with getting a room for my elderly parent. Breakfast was very good for a hotel breakfast and the staff were friendly.

The jacuzzi was filthy and our room was out of hair conditioner.
The grounds were clean. The bed was comfy. Fully stocked kitchen. The room was very clean. A little shop to buy things we forgot. Breakfast was good.

Convenient to La Jolla Village , UCSD and our friends I wish there were a few more tables in the outside eating area and the buildings were not so close to each other Also when you are at capacity, you don’t have enough parking. I do have to complement your very hard hard-working, patient and responsive staff.

The people in the room right above us were terribly noisy and we could hear every step they made even when they flushed the toilet we could hear it.
Super clean room. Beautiful looking property. Very friendly staff. Great location.

Stayed here for one night last minute as the other place we booked was horrible . It was clean , really comfy and the breakfast was great . If we hadn’t already found somewhere else to go the rest of the time we were in the area we would have stayed longer

The only thing I wasn’t thrilled with was breakfast. Didn’t see any oj (maybe they were just restocking) and no pastries, although there was one bagel left. The eggs were good, potatoes fine. And the oatmeal didn’t look great. But I was fine with everything just not wowed.
Clean spacious studio and while not fancy, it was updated nicely with everything I needed. Also the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

Pull-out sofa bed was not very supportive. It was not obvious that there would be an additional parking charge, which I didn't notice when I booked.
Breakfast was nice. Room had a good amount of space. Bed was comfortable.

The bedding/pillows were pretty uncomfortable, and the second day our key card stopped working randomly (but staff was quick to help). The breakfast was also pretty disappointing.
The staff was very nice and accommodating. We were able to store our bags with them because our flight left in the evening after check out. Everything was clean in our room.

Room was stuff you might have cleaners open slider when they clean. Grab bar outside shower would be helpful. Small mirror with magnification would be useful
Excellent breakfast options. Location is close to shopping area and short 10 min walk to trolley very clean and friendly staff

The pook area seemed very crowded with children running around. It would of been nice to have a quiet afternoon by the pool with a drink on my hand.
Breakfast was excellent but it was exactly the same every day. A little more variety would have been nice but overall it was good.
