We got there late and our room wasn't even clean yet. We had to sit on the porch and wait for it to be cleaned. The floor was dirty the whole time we were there. The bathroom was nice but a little small, the toilet was loose, and there was some mold in there. Parking wasn't the best for $10 a night. There weren't enough spots for all the rooms. Someone was always parked by our room so we weren't able to park in front of it like we were told we could. Other parking was available at another location down the road so it wasn't very convenient for our family. It was listed as having sea views but you could not see the beach at this location.

Walking distance to a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and ice cream shops. Right in front of the Wildwood sign so fast access to the boardwalk. I liked that it was two bedrooms, had a kitchenette, and the porch was a bonus.

It was not as cleaned as it should have been unfortunately. The floor definitely needed some cleaning, as it was very dirty & looked like it wasn’t cleaned in a while. The shower also had some left over hair on the walls. Because of that, I went and brought my own cleaning supplies to clean it. We also found stains on the sheets upon arrival. However, we were able to get new ones right away.

Location was perfect! Right across the boardwalk/beach. Front desk was nice & the room was spacious.

Parking was awful. Tile floor in main room did not feel clean. Very basic accommodations, but price was good.

Close to the beach, water view. Two double beds. Large refrigerator in kitchenette, with coffeemaker, real cups and dishes.Nice shower. Sink separate from toilet and shower. Large windows, good A/C.

The exterior of the building was a little bleh. I was pleasantly surprised at the inside of the unit because the outside looked kind of rough. They had some plumbing issues and other maintenance problems in room next to ours so there were mattresses leaned up against building for a few of the days. Looks like exterior hasn't been updated in a long time. No outside water faucet to wash sand from beach. We had to sneak into motel next door and use their water hose. The floors were all tile, so they got really dirty fast from the sand. There is no housekeeping during your stay which is fine and pretty common nowadays, but there is also no office located on the actual Rio property. The actual office office where the manager is, is about a block and a half away. We had to track him down to get extra towels and toilet paper when we needed. Wasn't a huge deal, but just a minor inconvenience. Manager did get us everything we needed in a timely manner, so it wasn't necessarily a negative. Parking area is a little tight and easy to get blocked in, but the location of motel was so great we really didn't move the car anywhere. We walked everywhere so wasn't an issue. No pot for the coffee pot when we arrived. Manager got us new coffee machine with pot right away and gave us extra coffee packets that go with it. Coffee was really weak though. Needed more than 4 packets to make one 4 cup pot of coffee. Got coffee out at Cafés for rest of mornings. Had tv but barely any channels to choose from.

The location was great right at the convention center near the beginning of the boardwalk. The AC was great and the room was nice and cool the whole time. Even had a remote for the AC and a table top fan. Unit was very clean and smelled fresh. Nice paint and decor. Simple. Full size fridge, microwave, sink, cabinets, 2 burner stove top (we didn't use) and kitchen items like utensils, plates, toaster etc. 1 dresser and table with 2 chairs. 2 double beds. Lots of pillows. Sign on door claimed to have in room safe but we didn't see one. Manager was very nice and got us everything we asked for.

Bathroom was awkwardly small with the shower ledge too close to the front of the toilet. A couple small touches would be appreciated.. full size trash can for the kitchen and extra trash bags since there is no office to get more...hooks in the bathroom for towels...and a broom to sweep up the inevitable sand from the floor!

Room #102, furst floor facing ocean with a big private front porch. Spacious apartment, two bedrooms, full kitchen, table for 6 and large living room, 3 tvs! Ideal for a family! Right across the street from the Wildwood sign on the boardwalk, no need to find a parking spot! Very nice property manager. Best part was the shower- big rain head and plenty of hot water! Newer windows, very quiet, bedroom on the right has a comfy soft bed, room on the left has a firm mattress.

For a 600 a night motel, the beds and sofa bed desperately need an upgrade they are hard as a rock. The fridge was not properly clean, and the bathroom fan had a chunk of dust on the cover. They want you to check in at 3pm or 4pm but make a big deal if you check out after 11 on the dot. I checked out at 11:20 and the guy said you are checking out very late give me a break.

The place is really close to the board and beach. Everything is within walking distance

It would have been nice to know ahead of time that I would need to go to another motel for check-in. When I first arrived, I saw no parking on the the property (turns out they only have three parking spots out back). I parked in the neighboring motel’s lot and walked to the Rio. The front door was slightly opened, but it didn’t look like an office inside. I asked the people inside (motel guests I assume) if this is where I check in. They said no. Some other guests walked up and I asked them if they knew where check-in is. They told me I needed to go to another motel. It turns out there is a sign explaining this, but it’s on the side of the building. They should have a sign at the door, and better yet, mention it during the reservation process on-line. Fortunately, the other motel was only a block away and they had ample parking.

Great location, right across from the beach. Bed was comfortable. Ckeck-in person (AJ) was very nice and welcoming.

Oh my goodness! The worse experience was that the room was on the second floor .. 18 steps! My husband and I have difficulty walking due to health issues and found this to be a deal breaker for us .

The shower was warm at best which after reading other reviews has been a problem. There is very little parking on site. We visited in the off season so we were able to get a spot but otherwise we would have had to park a block away. The room could have been cleaner. Also, the room is very bright at night. The light above the bathroom sink glows after it is switched off and the blinds do not keep the porch and street lighting out.

The location right across from the Wildwoods sign is perfect. The kitchen is nicely stocked (other than dish soap) and has a full sized fridge. The woman at check-in was very kind. I love that the place is pet friendly.The bed was comfortable.

There is no hot water to shower. The water was barely warm. Most of the towels had visible stains and a few others had hair stuck in them.

The gentleman at check in was VERY nice. And you can't beat the location. Open your room door and you see the boardwalk right across the street.
