Our TV worked, but it had a blue tint. Needs to be replaced. The mirror over the desk was not hung well and needed to be taken off the wall and propped on the desk because it would not stay up, and we were afraid it would fall off and break.

We liked that our room did not have carpet, but instead had vinyl hardwood flooring, our two queen beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and functional, but needs to be remodeled. We needed additional towels, and some toiletries, and the staff brought those items promptly, even though we arrived around 10:30pm. Based on the reviews I read about this hotel, I was braced for the worst, but was pleasantly surprised. The surrounding area was safe, I was not fearful of our safety or our car being broken into, and the room was a lot nicer than expected. I did learn that the rooms on the side of the hotel we stayed on were recently fixed up, so perhaps the negative reviews were from folks who stayed on the older side. The owner told us they were working to renovate the other side as well. Another thing that was a pleasant surprise was the restaurant separate from the hotel but on the property. We went there for breakfast and had a very wonderful meal. Our server was excellent as was the food. It's not fancy by any stretch, but it's a comfortable and safe stay. I also liked that they had a water cooler in the lobby that had hot and cold filtered water that you could fill your water bottles. The water was tasty.

I was charged twice - I stupidly paid in cash and apparently there is new management and I was double charged and there is no way to fix it. Also it was not super nice or clean or updated.

Except for my room, the facility seems to need a lot of attention. Full trash cans, coffee area had empty coffee cups, and laying around. Heavy duty smell of smoke in the lobby.

The staff was outstanding. Husband and wife are running it and they were super friendly and helpful.

Bathroom needed work. Toilet was ‘loose’, and water kept running, and was loud. As if there was a leak. Bathroom fan did not work. At end of hallway by a door - that door needs to be worked on so it isn’t so loud when it closes. It slams shut and shakes the whole room. Should also post ‘no smoking’ within 20 feet of building - the smoke comes in.

No breakfast, but coffee was good. Room was clean. A/c worked good. Normal room, as you’d expect anywhere.

Place was trashy on the outside. There seemed to be permanent residents at the motel. Guest check-in area had a major water leak from the ceiling. No maid service with a two night stay. No breakfast. Always activity outside.

The room was comfortable and clean. No one bothered us.

I knew the room would not have all kinds of extras like continental breakfast because the price was about half of all of the other hotels in the area and I chose it for that reason. The beds were comparable, the room was warm, the and refrigerator and an iron. I believe that some of the people there were on vouchers from social services, but they were nice and everything was quiet by 10 PM. They also had fresh coffee at 6 o'clock every morning and ice machine. The hotel was older so spotless in this would've been impossible. Noticed a few things like the curtain hem was torn or one of the screens out of the two window screens was missing. Not a big issue for me! The was not in what appeared to be a dangerous area and the parking lot was well lit. I Would go there again

The lady manager was rude an im assuming was the husband-tried when we checked in, had to call on phone to get service, wanting to checkout they asked if i really needed a recete(nother words-do i really need to get up an come to the desk, they must live in the next room), room (220) was upstairs by the outside exit, the exit door wouldnt shut on its own so some (not all would) had pulled it closed so in turn would slam (loud bang), was nervous bout our vehical parked by the road (was where we could see it) with easy access for anybody, the bed had no spring(wore out) solid as a brick (more comfy sleeping in a chair) walls an cabinets need painting bad... they dont put much money into improvements just keeping it clean, although the outside looks good but inside is aged bad

Is next to a restuarant (breakfast wasnt bad but not a five star, (hard to mess up eggs) has regulars an can be busy, the help thats there were great) , hotel itself wasnt very busy, lots of parking (but not secured), meijers is not far which helped after we found out we forgot a few things an a few better restuarants as well by meijers

The carpet in the whole place needed repair and cleaning. The staff had to come to room several times to get tv to work The price was too high for the type of facility it was.

The room and bedding were filthy.

We had a terrible experience, the room was filthy and so was the bed. Saw evidence of bugs. The shower curtain ws held up by laundry clothespins and the window was broken. We asked for a refund and they did do that however, they charged our debit card two times and are refusing to refund us for that second charge. DO NOT STAY HERE

The bathroom vanity had some cigarette burns in the countertop. The dresser handle was messed up, and I felt like we paid a lot for our room so I would’ve expected a much better accommodation. The worst part of all was the noise . We were on the first floor at the end of the hall and all night long, we could hear the people above us. It seemed like they didn’t sleep because I kept waking up all through the night and I could hear them walking around The staircase to the building was outside of our exterior wall, and it was almost like it was in our room I couldn’t believe how loud it was. So we would never stay there again. It was clean. I will give it that. Also, there is no coffee in your room. There’s only coffee in the lobby and that’s not decaf. That’s just regular coffee no choices. It seemed kind of far from anything else. There was no hot water for tea if that’s your preference. No water. No cups.

The bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure and was clean.
