Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesNo food at the pool bar as advertised on Sunday or for dinner Monday if you didn’t want the full bbq. Price of food and drink was over the top. An all inclusive or reasonable food/drink package would be nice, or some freebies like continental breakfast and pool snacks (pizza bar) with option to buy/spend more if you want a more high end experience More chaise lounge seating? Or a time limit? Seemed impossible to get one.
Pool, hot tubs-extra large, towels at the pool, pool bar, activities for kids, s’mores, villa for families with two twins Pool BBQ General store Location Use of pool with changing rooms after check out

United KingdomVilla was much bigger than expected and spacious for 5 adults. Wider facilities at the lodge were great and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Beautiful location and 5 mins drive to the Yosemite entrance and 45mins to the valley. Could not have asked for a nicer place to base ourselves for Yosemite for the price.

United KingdomNothing!
Everything! It can’t get any better than Rush Creek Lodge. The facilities are superb. The games room is awesome, the decor, pool area, informed staff and recreation team, shop, pool side BBQ’s and there’s a help yourself laundry area with washing machines and dryers. Great location. So close to the west gate entry into Yosemite, but the hotel is surrounded by beauty. Fantastic for families.

United KingdomThe cost of the booking itself was very expensive, however if you compare it to other hotels in the area that are inside the park, it’s cheaper than those and much nicer. Food and drink was quite pricey and items in the shop were fairly pricey too. My only disappointment was that I had hoped to use the spa facilities the day before our wedding, but I didn’t realise this was an extra cost, I had assumed as a guest the use of the facility would be included in the stay. (Obviously I understand treatments would be charged, but I had hoped to at least go into the spa)
We stayed here recently for our wedding in Yosemite, we were travelling with our three year old son so wanted a family friendly stay and weren’t disappointed. The play areas, heated pool and daily activities entertained him for hours. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. Especially Johnny on the front desk. The location is amazing. So close to Yosemite gates, if you leave early enough in the morning to beat the crowds like we did, it took no time at all. Our room was lovely and clean, and really big! We had a room with a balcony on the back of the building, so we had a beautiful view of the forest. They also let me use the bridal suite to get ready in the morning of our wedding, which was really helpful. The evening smores were also great. We’re British and also really appreciated an actual kettle in the room to make tea. There was also a fridge and coffee machine. And shared microwave downstairs in the laundry room. Honestly I was so upset to leave and move onto our next hotel for our honeymoon, and wish we could have afforded to stay for longer.

United StatesThe barn door for the bathroom was very loud and hard to move. We left it a crack open at night so as not to wake everyone.
The room was comfortable, clean and up to date. Loved the pool and adult hot tub. Ate at the restaurant for breakfast one day and it was a very nice buffet. Had dinner at the restaurant as well several times. Good food, lively atmosphere in the bar area.
