Had issues with the humidity in the room. It never really felt dry. I know FL is humid, but this was the only place during our stay where I experienced this. The audio on the TV never worked as it should. Initially it did not work at all. This as a real little thing that should not have been an issue at all. The wifi was the worst. Sometimes good signal, sometimes not. It always varied even if you did not move. I'm thinking that those in the owners quarters did not have this issue.

The staff was awesome. From the time we checked in. The maintenance person was awesome and so was housekeeping. Everyone on site was pleasant.

Would definitely would’ve like to see other types of food options, maybe a little more upscale restaurants as well.

We were not ocean side, but the beach staff were the worst, the sign leading to the beach stayed no umbrellas in front of Sandestin rentals. We were ok with that until we got down there and there were 30-40 umbrellas and chairs in front of the resort rentals. So we set up a small half dome canopy. Once we got it up, the employee came and told us we had to take it down that the policy was "no tents" when I stated the and showed him the sign with the rules that no umbrellas were to be in front, he rudely said we'll that's not my problem take it down or I'll make you leave.

How and wear to rent beach chairs and a golf cart were not clear at all and we ended up having to go without. When trying to book a chair online it said they were sold out, but after arriving there was a booth you could rent from that had many available (we had already bought some from Walmart since it had said sold out). There was confusion about what was included with our stay. Booking.com said all amenities were included, hotel said they were only included if we booked directly through them. We decided to drive ourselves over to the beach side of the hotel, but it was not clear where we could park and if we were to pay for parking. Beach was super crowded but our pool was not so we enjoyed ourselves regardless. The pros did outweigh the cons.

The room was very nice and clean. The pool at our building was not crowded at all. The staff was super nice and friendly. Although, which shuttle went where was a bit confusing, it was very nice having that option. Just make sure you get on one that didn't just have a beach stop when going to dinner or you might notice you have a slightly wet bottom when exiting the shuttle. Overall we really enjoyed our visit and would recommend. Definitely wish our visit was longer!

While we could see the beach from our balcony, you had to walk a round-about way to get there. The beach was extremely crowded and the area closest to the walkway was reserved for another hotel.

Our condo was beautiful and very comfortable. The views were amazing. The pool was beautiful and relaxing.

The problem is whatever you buy don’t buy from booking.com they lie. This is the second time I buy front ocean view with balcony. When I get here is balcony but not acean view. Is horrible to pay for something you is going to be and when you get to the place is a lie. Very dishonest.. the pace is very nice.

The bathroom was old and it wasn’t cleaned well. If you’re staying, please bring coffee pots. The Keurig in our room had some really weak coffee and they only give you two pods. The vending machine is at Baytown. Sandestin did not work. The chairs outside by the pool were really dirty. The cushions need to be replaced or cleaned. Some of the rattan in the beach side barstools unraveling very unsightly. By the third day, the pool needed to be shocked because it was filthy so we used the pool at another building. And many of the cleaning staff in the building with the exception of one young lady are really crabby. The pictures on their website are of when the facility was a little newer and they should update their pictures to reflect what it currently looks like it does not look bad however it is older than what they show on the pictures and Maintenance needs to do a better job of maintaining the facility. and last, but not least the restaurant was supposed to be open which they called the café from morning tonight however, every day it closed at 4 PM so you were unable to get anything to eat unless you went all the way down to the Baytown shopping center very inconvenient when they kept posting the hours that open till nine but closed every day at 4 PM.

The property itself is very beautiful with lots of lakes, and the bay is beautiful with great sunsets. The property is very well situated to everything in Destin to include food and shopping and grocery store stores. We loved the shopping section where you can go down and walk around and do activities and get something to eat on site.

The rooms felt too much like a hotel and less like a condominium. Also, the first room had a water leak in the bathroom and it smelled musty

Our buildings pool was closed for renovation which was totally fine because we had the other pool right next to it. However, that pool was VERY overcrowded even with the pool attendant there. Upon check-in your are provided wrist bands and told to wear them the entire time you are on property. Out of the 100+ people that were at the pool one of the days we were there I counted maybe 5-10 people actually wearing the wrist bands. It was hard to believe that everyone in the pool that day was actually staying on the property. Don't get me wrong though....we were on vacation and didn't really care but it would have been nice to not have wait on people to get out of the pool so we could get in. Also, on check out day be preparred to wait on the elevators or wake up earlier to beat the crowd. We stayed on the 10th floor (out of at least 15 floors) so lugging luggage down the stairs would have sucked. I had to wait for 6 different elevators to come until I could get on one since we had a wagon full of stuff.

The property was incredible! There were so many activities to keep the entire family busy! Our room had a wonderful view, it was clean, and a great size. Having the tram service to take us around the property was a great surprise. Next time we will splurge and get a golf cart! The restaurants on property were great, the pool side bar drinks were top notch, the beach chairs and umbrellas were a wonderful touch. We will absolutely be back and will bring our entire family!

The Luau 2 hotel was very close to the beach. The tram system throughout the whole area is very nice!
