There was noise disturbances by other residents which lasted well until after 1:30 am. They were around the pool area and the back of the building were the trash cans are located.

The property was great for the price and location close to the beach.

When we booked the room, the description of the property indicated there was a storage room so that we could keep our luggage secure while waiting for the room to be ready upon arriving early. However, on the day we arrived, we were told there was no place to store our luggage. Also, since the room we stayed in was on the ground floor and the view from the window was to the street, the curtains were thick and opaque; this meant that when the curtains were shut, not enough natural light from outside could get in and the room got quite dark. There were also not enough power outlets next to the bed. The single one that was close to the bed was occupied by a lamp, so the lamp had to be unplugged to to plug in a phone charger to use the phone in bed while charging.

The room was clean. The area felt safe. There were server stores nearby, including a pharmacy. The place was close to the beach — a 10-minute walk.

Did not like that there was no staff to assist on premises. We had to call, and I had no wifi because we flew in from South Africa. I had to ask a resident to make contact for me. He had the same bad experience, and fortunately, he had wifi/internet.

Check-in was cumbersome. Difficulties with on-line registration. Room number and PIN could not be texted to my phone because it was a UK number apparently. This caused some frustrating delays.

My only complaint was the drawers with glass was not baby proof and my 1 year old kept getting into them, but other than that, no complaints at all.

The property was in a great location. The pool was clean and the yard around the pool was relaxing! My kids range from 13 to 1 and they all loved it. I felt very safe while there and everybody was very friendly.

There was no kitchen sink in my room which made having a kitchenette rather pointless.

Hot water for showers was tepid for one shower, ran out to near cold on another, and was fine on the third. I realize the tank is only so big, but growing up in a similar building I do not take long showers, so that was a little bit of a letdown but not a show stopper.

Beds are not so comfortable; no central air; the AC makes lots of noise so sleeping peacefully was not ideal. For the weekend that I was there, there were LOTS of smokers and even though they smoked outside in the terrace and garden, the smell sometimes came into our room. WiFi was intermittent in general, but particularly to watch TV. They need to boost the signal.

The furniture is very cheap and the pull out sofa is incredibly uncomfortable.

The pool area is comfortable and cheery. The rooms are efficient and clean and the location is right across the street from the beach. Free parking.

Room is on the smaller side and I would say the beds aren't the most comfortable, with the springs in the mattress. But overall at nice place to stay.

Wifi quality was a bit low. I stayed in Room 14, which was a very nice room, but I had to walk to the front office area to get enough bars to make a phone call. This also affected the TV in my room which was solely dependent on the wifi, as far as I could gather. This is definitely a family place - lots of teens and pre-teens with their parents, so things could get a bit noisy and rowdy at the pool. It's always nice to see and hear people having fun but they should be mindful and respectful of the other guests especially after hours. As a kind suggestion (as I have seen at other properties) Signage with some standard pool rules, as a courtesy to fellow guests, should be posted. I would also suggest a 'no food in the pool' rule.

I really liked this hotel. The location is fantastic, across the road from the beach and just a few short blocks walk from where I like to be when I visit Pompano - central to the amenities: great bars restaurants...Publix, etc. There were lots of towels provided and they were fantastic quality. The washroom was lovely and updated.

The place is great , nothing to dislike , just a few recommendations...ice machines in the place will be a plus. Internet failed for a day... but resolved.

The location is the best thing about this property. It is a short walk to the beach and a couple restaurants. The courtyard is great and the room, although very basic, was clean and did the trick for two days before a cruise. Places are expensive around there and this one was reasonable. Drank and ate at the Lucky Fish (casual) and a beach house (a little fancier) and breakfast at the Yellow Yolk. All great!
