It was modern and clean. The bed was really comfortable. The area around looked very historic and nice. It’s close to the center of the town with all the restaurants and entertainment. The mansions are also a few minutes drive away.

No real lobby or place to relax in the Inn. But this was not a huge concern because the room and location made up for it.

If anything the bathroom sink did not have room to place make up, hair dryer toiletries. This would be my only negative.

My stay was short, but I absolutely loved Serenity Inn Newport! My room was beautiful, and it was spotless! Great, peaceful location that is walking distance to Thames Street, and the team gives beyond excellent customer service. I would HIGHLY recommend Serenity Inn and will stay there again.

The Inn itself and the room was immaculate. Very nice old Victorian Inn. Inn keeper was outstanding with recommending sights to see and dining recommendations. Would most definitely return for another visit. The breakfast was that of a five star restaurant, fabulous 👌

It might have been nice to know that there were other breakfast choices as the main selection of the day was offered and until I heard someone else deviate, I didn't know it was an option. This is a minimal thing though.

The owner met us on arrival, even though we'd had instructions as to how to check in ourselves. She showed us on a map what to do in the area and restaurant recommendations and was incredibly accommodating each time we saw her, including each morning at breakfast. Breakfast was freshly made to order, with one key suggestion each day, although there was room to deviate or they were flexible to adapt. The room, not large, was beautiful with a fabulous deck which I think was specific to this particular room. We loved it. It was central and the restaurant recommendations were great so local knowledge was appreciated. If ever we were back in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to return.
