Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaExpensive valet parking Adding gratuity to everything( take away food)
Clean hotel, very friendly staff, the only thing that was weird to me was that they add gratuity to everything, even take away food. Valet parking very expensive, 60 dollars a night which is crazy: overall good stay.

United States of AmericaI could literally hear the couple talking at a normal volume, in the next room, as if they were in the same room as I. They heard us talking. We could hear each other so clearly that we carried a full conversation through the wall with the neighboring guests without having to be near the wall. Absolutely no privacy.
Overall, it’s a great hotel and I would consider staying again if not every room is as transparent to the room next to it.

United States of AmericaHousekeeping never visited; understaffed and staff not very helpful. Not a good value for money.
Not superb, but good enough location; rooms are large, bed is comfortable, amenities are decent and early check in was possible given the size of the overall hotel, number of rooms.

United States of AmericaI DID NOT like paying for parking ( self parking $30 per night) if I'm parking my own car, it should be free.An incidental fee of $100, no microwave, only 1 wash rag, and the complimentary body soap smell favored a masculine man. All the fees you collect after stating the low price of the room. The room would have been less expensive had I gone through the TEAM rate. Make it more attractive by lowering the fees or the room.
I liked the service, clean room, and the secure feeling as I slept. The staff was excellent. The bed was comfortable enough to sleep in.

United States of AmericaThere was no trash can is the bathroom, which was odd since it seems like a requirement. Also, the breakfast buffet was terrible and overpriced. Staff seemed indifferent about providing good service. Find somewhere else for breakfast.

United States of AmericaThere is no information in the room about food or amenities. When I went to the front desk to ask about when breakfast was served, I was given a lunch menu. Since it was difficult getting food at the hotel, I ordered DoorDash. The hotel would not allow the driver to bring the food to my room and the hotel made me come to the lobby to get my food. When I asked about the food, the person at the desk rudely pointed to the food and walked away.
It has a great location.

SwitzerlandIt's not only the Sheraton - why are all hotel pillows now so thick and heavy - no possibility to sink into them and they weigh a ton when you move them. Because of the pandemic my room was made up only once in 4 days.
I liked that the staff went out of their way to give me a room high enough so I could see Logan Square (there is construction across the street). The view is my main reason for staying at the Sheraton. Breakfast was very good, I also had a turkey dinner at the bar- and all the service personnel were very nice.
