I didn’t like that the beds weren’t remade everyday and the bed was a little small.

It seemed like it was necessary to pay for most TV channels. The shower floor was covered with small, smooth stones, which are irritating to the heels. Therefore, I will not be returning to this hotel. I injured my heel permanently at another location with a similar shower floor.

The room was smelling mould and even though they cleaned the air conditioner the smell continued during our whole stay. They gave us 80 usd compensation in total for 4 nights. But I would definitely prefer to stay in an odorless room instead of compensation. The rooms facing the Main Street and the beach are better and insist to have one on that side rather than the carpark facing rooms

Our room was street-side and local hooligans could be heard drag racing until around midnight. But white noise machine interrupted the outside noise.

the building is older and they have made attempts to improve it. But the biggest challenge is the door key system. The require a "code" be sent to your phone in which you have to download an app and figure out the code. Just give me a key card and be done with it! It is a dumb use of technology for a problem that didn't exist. It took them 25 minutes to figure it out and get me my door code. Rooms on the outside are loud with bright lights for safety all night. Will not stay here again

The full process for booking was a total nightmare. The customer service trying to confirm the reservation was horrendous and provided inaccurate information creating an incredible amount of stress and anxiety. I couldn’t cancel my reservation as it was too close to booking. The system recorded another email on my reservation so I didn’t get the details and then I was blamed for the error (so I am aware they are not looking into or correcting it). I spent hours doing their pre verification process, trying to communicate with their customer service, to not getting the details for my reservation. Their response was to tell me I input another parties email (when I only have one email) and thus would not provide any compensation. This was all for a weekend stay. Had I known in advance of their intensive, time consuming pre verification process, I would have just chosen another location. The process went from bad to worse.

Dated interior halls and rooms, comfortable but needed updating. There is no food on site. the closest restaurant is two blocks away.

Location to the beach was great, facilities were clean, and we felt safe.

The digital key was a hassle and worked half the time at best. The staff was barely there and not nearly as helpful as they were when owned by Best Western. The PCH is right outside and can be loud throughout the night. The walls are also very thin and you can easily hear everyone walking in their rooms next to yours or coming and going through the halls. The main parking lot is almost unusable but the secondary lot was perfectly fine to use.

The location is right across the street from the beach and close to multiple good restaurants. The room was clean and recently renovated. The app made checking in and out easy.

front desk has no phone, no way to call them directly, only to call center. they almost make you download their app where you have to register, create account, give all your info, credit card info, upload your id for verification.. unacceptable for me. also there is no microwave in the room, but there are couple in the lounge area.

Housekeeping fell short. We were there for 4 days. We didn’t once have our towels changed out. We ran out of coffee and toilet paper, our garbages were overflowing. The shower took forever to warm up. Our TV was also a bit sketchy, it would turn itself on and off and flick through channels at random hours. We ended up unplugging it.

Location was incredible!! Just a short little walk to the beach. The app was so useful, it gave tips of nearby things to check out.
