The couch and sitting chair were uncomfortable, cold upholstery.

Good breakfast options during the week, even on a holiday. Not as many options on the weekend although the clerk helped to accommodate us

The overall property condition and cleanliness could be improved. It's not a great part of Colorado Springs unfortunately. I was not a fan at all of the $500 deposit required, that's far beyond normal for any hotel.

I do like this hotel, there's something homey about it.

Only there one night during a crazy snowstorm with 1 foot of snow in a day. Not ideal to be placed on the 2nd floor with snow on the outside stairs. Would have been nice to be placed on 1st floor. Would stay again just not in the snow.

Comfortable beds, somewhat older facility but very clean. Had all the kitchen facilities if we wanted to cook. Decent hotel breakfast, basic fare. Good coffee. Great value for the price.

There were a couple of stains in the carpet that were concerning, and paint peeling in the bathroom. However, it looks like they are renovating units.

The room hold fee was actually 500 not 250 like the message they sent stated. The first room had 4 live wasps in it. The second room shower was bad. Like coming unattached from the wall it sprayed anything you had on the shelf or toilet. Rooms were definitely in need of some TLC. Breakfast was inconsistent but good when available. In winter the steps up to the second floor door get extremely slick and slippery just as a caution to others.

Love the room types available and the pet friendly policy. Staff was helpful booking was a way cheaper option than going directly through the direct company.

The OK: Location was not really close to many of the activities we wanted to do, so we ended up having to drive 20-30 minutes for everything. The Bad: The door to the room is insanely hard to get open. You literally have to kick down the door or shove your entire body into it for it to open (also to close it). Downstairs bathroom tub drain needs cleaned out. Did not drain, so you have to shower in ankle-deep standing water. Kitchen faucet needs to be tightened down, as it practically comes off the sink when lifting lever to turn it on. The bedroom downstairs had 2 double beds and the one closest to the windows was annoying to sleep in because there is a smoke detector that I think has a problem. It would sporadically flash a very bright white strobing light for 3-5 seconds. So, kind of made it difficult to sleep with that going on all night.

The Good: Breakfast was very good with lots of choices! The suite was large, basically a 1 bedroom apartment with 2 baths, which was very handy! Full kitchen was well stocked and had full size refrigerator & freezer.

centralized location but room was near the busy street. Also the room door was stuck and you had to use forceful shoulder or foot to open it. Extra bath towels should be included and not have to ask; housekeeping only every 2-3 days. Carpets kinda dirty looking; bed and pillows too soft. Incidentals amount was not mentioned at time of check-in, only read the sign posted. Nothing about housekeeping how often. Very basic information.

The property overall is a little run down. We had a leak under the sink in our room that we didn’t notice until checking out (we never opened that cabinet).

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Our room was large (we got the 2br/2ba loft), clean, quiet, and comfortable with good linens and towels. Location was good, many stores and restaurants nearby and no more than 30 minutes from any local attractions. Good value for a family with teenagers who needed space and a kitchen.

Facilities are dated and need some updates both inside and out. There were quite a few dumpsters around so perhaps some refurbishing is going on.

Tiles in bathtub were cracked. Faucet in kitchen was extremely loose. Felt like it might come off when used. Sink in bathroom area was cracked and badly patched and the drain plug wouldn't work, forcing any water used to drain extremely slowly.

They were working on units above us and started early Sunday morning and that was not very good. Woke us up and it continued until we left but other than that it was good

My husband turned the ac on when we went to bed. Something on the ac in the furnace closet was rattling so hard that I had to turn it off. I reported it to the office to get repaired. The smoke alarm was flashing white light every few seconds. It was hard to sleep with it flashing.

Good TV stations to watch. The bed was comfortable and I liked the kitchen.

The room needed to be updating. There was a broken hinge on the bathroom door. The kitchen cabinets needed to be updated. The grounds around the buildings needed maintaining and relandscaping. There was deteriorating concrete around the foundation.

We like that it had a will stocked kitchen with dishes, glass, tableware and pots and pans. Even though the room was old and could use a facelift, it was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
