The hallway carpet is very dated, stained and takes away from the excellent customer service and peaceful area. Also the housekeepers are not deep cleaning these rooms. I found thick dust on top of the fridge and the ac filter had to be replaced because it was so dirty.

I like the convenience, amenities and affordable ability.

I hate saying anything bad because the people are so nice, BUT the hallway rugs are disgusting. It takes away from the quality of service and room accommodation. My air conditioner leaked all over my rug on the first night but the came the next day and cleaned it. The air conditioner probably needs to be replaced because although it didn’t soak my carpet again, it still feels slightly damp by the ac whenever you walk by it. Also the trash cans at the end of the hall were sometimes overflowing, however by the next day or later in the day they were emptied.

I love the convenience to my place of employment. It’s a safe area. I love they have complimentary laundry services, the exercise room is always clean, you can get complimentary coffee and sign out additional kitchen tools if needed. The front desk staff was extremely nice and always resolved any question or issue quickly.

Parts of the property looked very worn & outdated (especially the green carpet in the hallways & on staircases, which had several stains). The washing machines & dryers in the laundry room needed a deep cleaning. They only had 2 carts for guests to use to carry luggage, which is not enough in my opinion. Also, the built-in microwave in my suite went out during my stay, & the maintenance crew had to bring another microwave to my room & they set it down in the space where I had intended to keep my suitcase, which was inconvenient. The hotel seemed a bit overpriced for its condition.

Having a suite with a desk space & a kitchenette with a dishwasher was nice. It was a pet-friendly hotel, though I ultimately opted not to bring my dogs with me. The staff was friendly & helpful for the most part.

There was no breakfast. I stepped on a large bug in my room with my bare foot. It grossed me out. Housekeeper happened to be in the hallway and I asked her to remove it. She did but said she'd never seen one like it before. Don't know what kind it was. I told the front desk about it and was hoping for a small compensation of some kind. I did not ask, though, and none was offered. Stairway carpet needs to be replaced - it's stained and gives the impression that it's not clean. Shelving in the bathroom was dusty. Tea bags in the kitchen tray were water stained, should have been replaced. Again, a feeling of not being so clean or fresh.

Snacks were available for purchase at the front desk. Gym was well equipped. Quiet suite. Nicely set up for cooking, coffee, full size fridge. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was no hairdryer in the room, but housekeeping was quick to bring one when I called. Comfortable bed. Nice desk space for working. Clean remote for the TV. Nearby restaurant delivers to the room. Quiet heating/cooling unit.

The rooms were clean but when you first walk in the room every time you get hit with a very musky/ stale smell. I have found from other hotels I stay in (im a frequent traveler for work) that I find that hotels with no carpet in the rooms are much cleaner I also feel it would so much easier to clean and quicker for staff to clean and keep clean. I did not like the fact the I had to walk through the front entrance every time I would leave or go outside due to the exits at the end of the halls not allowing you to re-enter even with a room card to get in! Very inconvenient as my room was closer to the end of the hallway the. It was to the front entrance. Like I said I travel a lot and I would stay at the hotel again with being so convenient with food, stores, fuel and extra bonus only a few miles from where I need to be for the horse races when I come down. I would recommend to other if there is a way to maybe get the smell to go away as it is not very pleasant. I booked 4 rooms and 3 out of 4 had an odor of cigarettes I know it's no smoking but there is surely no.denying the smell.

Customer service was absolutely fantastic and very friendly staff. Answered all questions quickly and accurately, very quick to greet you as you walk in and they remember you and interact in conversation which is very pleasant. Also the location it the best part,and a major reason I deal with the cons of this review, as I come down every year for a horse race at Percy Warner Park and your location is 10 mins from there, it also has a Dunkin donuts right around the corner. 🤣😃

That the living room had been converted to a second bedroom and there was no living space other than a chair crammed in between the kitchen and bed. The furniture was delapitated and broken. The microwave handle was held together by tape and several drawers were rigged to stay in place and if touched fell to the floor. The carpets were dirty especially in the hallways actually disgusting. The tv remote was broken. A broken air conditioner was laying on the floor in my room. The property needs maintenance desperately and the staff need better training. It felt more like a highway motel and that’s being nice. It use to be a candle wood suites and instead of rebranding several signs were just covered up with the new name. No money has been spent on renovations for at least 10 years …only the buyout by Sonesta.

That they had one bedroom suites and the location was convenient.

The rooms could use more cleaning. Room 336, the lamp stand, back of and under the bed could use deep clean, shampoo and vacuum. They did not disclose upon booking the cost of pet fee. Stayed 1 night paid $75.
