To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe floor plan was a bit funky, having to access the master bedroom by walking through the kitchen and laundry room. Heat in MB is an old wall unit. There's a mini-split heat pump in the room, but not for rent or use.
Fabulous oceanfront setting..the lead photo doesn't capture the view. Older, but kept in good shape. Enjoyed our stay!

View of the beach and beach access was wonderful. Plenty of seating. Kitchen well stocked with cookware. It was nice to have several rooms you could see the ocean from.

Right on the beach, pet friendly had everything we needed in the kitchen and bath. Very clean, comfortable beds and and quiet.

United States of AmericaThe house has not been updated at all. The blinds in the big bedroom off the kitchen are so old that they are barely hanging on and don't close leaving you with zero privacy. The queen pullout couch bed doesn't work. We didn't realized this until we were getting ready for bed and couldn't pull the bed out. We then couldn't get the couch bed back in. Part of my travel crew ended up sleeping on the floor due to this.
The views are amazing and it's right on the beach. The kitchen is decently furnished and easy to cook in. The location is absolutely perfect for travelers that want to watch the sunset over the ocean.

United States of AmericaThis is not advertised as a duplex. The attached apartment is separated by a locked door. A couple of inches. You can hear everything. Especially the dog. The kitchen was very outdated, some of the cabinets did not fit together! One of the burners on the stove was not working correctly. Uncomfortable furniture, overall. The outside gate was in disrepair and unsafe. There was dust on the registers. Heating was inconsistent in the back bedroom. You stay here for the view, the beach, that’s about it.
The view was outstanding.
