While lying in bed, we noticed a gummy bear on the floor beside the opposite bed and also a child’s hair ornament on the floor near the heating system. This let me know that the room was not vacuumed thoroughly. Also, the swimming pool has a foul which prevented us from entering

I like that the location was easily accessible from Chicago, there was plenty of parking, an indoor pool was available, the front desk staff made check in easy and the breakfast was quite tasty!

Well We did ask them to do room service they did not despite telling them when i checked it and told them on Saturday when we left. Staff dod not even bother asking me how was your stay It seems they are way short staffed everything you need to push to get it like Swimming pool towels, Business center was out of paper most of the time Ice machines are not in every floor you have to go to different floor each time to get it

The bathroom could have been cleaner around the baseboards. The clearance into the bathroom was VERY tight between the toilet and the door, and I'm only 5'2" and petite!

The bathtub floor sloped up to the sides, creating unsure footing for older people or those with balance issues. A single switch controlled both the bathroom light and fan. There was no way to turn on the light without the fan also. So that using the facility during the night was certain to disturb the sleep of your partner. The door to the room slammed shut very forcefully and loudly.

Liked the suite and desk accommodations. Sufficiently roomy. The breakfast buffet had a lot of options and was quite good.

They charged for parking my car in their parking lot. Really???? Do we need to be nickel and dimed for every little thing? They also had no rubber shower/tub mats for use. Slip and fall in the tub and where are you???

While this is not a reasonable request -- we got delayed by more than 8 hours due to weather related flight delays. We only stayed at the hotel for 3 hours t- grab a shower and then be on our way. It would nice courtesy on the part of the hotel to either provide some form of financial relief or at least equivalent points.

This was transit - unfortunately we could not spend the night as our flight got delayed by more than 8 hours but the person at the front desk was very helpful and supportive.

Minor things - It is a bit dated. Upon our arrival, our room was out of body wash, low on tissue & tp, but housekeeping staff were helpful in making it right.

Location was great for our activities in the area. Breakfast & the pool. Staff extremely helpful and friendly.

All the mold! Our ceiling leaked everywhere. It was raining and no one slept all night because the ceiling kept leaking so we just left early. Water spots everywhere so it’s not a new issue. Mold in the shower on the ceiling, walls, on the pull out couch. Pull out couch, you wouldn’t even want someone sitting on. It was nasty. Blood on the pull out couch and carpet. Bathroom was so tiny you can’t even get dressed in there and the urine stains all over the tile just add to the ambience. This felt like a red roof inn and not a Marriott. Do yourself a favor, don’t book here. This shouldnt be a Marriott hotel anymore.
