Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Saint MartinRoom needs a little update, curtains are old, walls too, desk needs to be changed (used and ring stains), shower is open with no door, curtain or glass so i put a lot of water on the Floor but didn't bother me. Carpet looks old (but was clean). Lots of homeless in the neighborhood but hotel and streets around are safe.
Location is perfect to do what i wanted to see. A lot of old theatres, you could feel the vibes. Room was comfy but looks old and had a little smell when i first came in. Room was clean. Outside was noisy but OK to fall asleep. Even if there was just one elevator in functiin, it was Quick each time i took it. Self check-in is a must ! Very convenient ! A lot of attentions in the room like face masks, ear plugs and coffee. The coffee bar in the hotel is great too.

United StatesIt’s in the downtown area. It’s gentrified but also sketchy. If you’re not the adventurous type and like everything to be perfectly manicured, this neighborhood isn’t for ya!
Stile downtown was a great hotel! Our stay was extra awesome because of the staff, the surprising amenities, and the rooftop pool. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We got checked in early by Frankie. We got to enjoy some hours poolside before heading out. And did I tell you about amenities like water, coffee, and full size toiletries. I also loved that there was a restaurant, coffee shop, and ice cream in the lobby. Lots of upscale restaurants in the neighborhood and even just down in the lobby. Super convenient having a coffee shop, a CVS, and liquor shops nearby. My ultimate favorites are the Brazilian restaurant and the French restaurant called Zinque. I’d definitely go back in a heartbeat!

New ZealandWe stayed during the curfews and this wasn’t communicated to us prior to staying to give us a chance to cancel, we also had no idea what they entailed so thought we couldn’t go out at night but it turned out we could! I wish there was more communication about this as our trip could’ve been a lot better! The carpet in the rooms is also really dirty and the showers being fully open right by the door to the hall was a shock!

United StatesBe prepared, downtown can be intense. The architecture is gorgeous but the homelessness and drug use is right in your path if you walk around. It's not unsafe, just ... intense.
The room was very industrial chic--the towels and sheets were soft, and I loved the sheetmasks waiting for me when I arrived. As a woman travelling alone for work I felt safe and comfortable.

United StatesWish there was a dedicated parking spot.
We really liked the room and how it was laid out, the design and modern vibe. It was perfect for a night stay. Parking lots around, so you have to look to find one for overnight. Would stay again.

AustraliaThe room was not the same as I booked. Asked the staff about this and questioned why my room was smaller they said that’s just a standard room, they could move me but it will be the same. Disappointed that I didn’t get what I paid for and the pictured room is a completely different suite essentially- false advertising.
Great location, staff were friendly.

United StatesThe most uncomfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept on! There wasn’t a mattress pad or anything, just bedding & a spring mattress on a flat bed frame. The pillows were soft but flattened when you lie on it; even stacking two wasn’t very comfy. The carpet in the hotel room was frayed and visibly dirty… good thing I brought my own slippers. It’s too bad there isn’t onsite parking.
Hotel & room are stylish! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Toiletries are great!

The hotel is refurnished on an old office so it looks unfinished inside. However, the room is very clean and bathroom is spotless. You are also given some Korean facial masks too for free! Staff are very friendly and helpful. Check in/out process is super easy. Location is superb in the downtown.

A comfortable albeit quirky hotel near the heart of LA. The area the hotel is in has seen better days. That said, there’s a few nice cafes nearby and you’re only a 10min walk from the Pershing subway stop. The in-house laundry was super convenient.

AustraliaEverything in this building requires a code and the initial emails do not communicate all these clearly. Every day there was a new person confused by a code, especially in the lifts.
The location was really convenient for what we were doing, though probably a little far away from big tourist attractions if that’s what you’re after. The property itself was beautiful with great ammenities and some very convenient cafes.
