Nice accommodations, if you must stay in Tahoe City

The cost was not on par with the accommodations. Our last night (Sunday) the parking lot was empty, yet we paid a premium price!!!?! Maybe should have shopped around a little more for accommodations. But Tahoe, in general, is expensive in the summer time

Location to shops/food/beach in Tahoe city was great. Very good communications and response time is excellent by hotel staff.

Not fancy but very clean & comfy.

Super comfortable & great local. While the in room jacuzzi is super old school & heart shaped , it is such a good bath for a single or two people. Worth the blast into the past!

The location of the property was in middle of the city with a Safeway next door. The room was clean and heated. The bathroom seems to be renovated and all the faucets etc were looking new. Check in and check out was quick too. There were many restaurants in walking distance.

Snow and ice covered back stairs from office are a liability - shoveling the walk in front of my room at 6 am? Need to remind guests that standing in front of ground level rooms at 7 am yammering at each other will quite possibly wake other guests.

Room was comfortable and decently appointed - staff was friendly - location is great

There was some deferred maintenance present, and a deep clean isn’t something we gathered to have been done anytime in recent history.

Location is amazing, and compared to other properties available we felt like we got good value. We also liked that the room had a microwave and small counter space so we could make snacks and such in-room.

Black out curtains would be nice, as the light from outside comes through the room blinds.

This is a great spot to stay after/before a day on the slopes. Its location to fun food spots is fantastic. It's clean and comfortable, even if a little dated.

All was good. I would have loved softer towels, but the ones we had were just fine.

The Inn at Boatworks is super convenient to get to the slopes and also for dining and shopping nearby. It is older yet very comfortable and clean. You are walking distance to all sorts of food and stores you might want.

Room window needs drapes to keep parking lot lighting from disturbing sleep at night. Nearby street noise was very noticeable until late in the evening.

Desk staff was helpful and personable. Room was clean, odor free, appeared to be recently remodeled. Location was perfect for a stay in Tahoe City. Pricing was competitive.

No housekeeping. For a stay of 2 or more nights you would expect bed to be made & attention given to bathroom supplies such as towels, etc.

Location was convenient. However, at check-in we were told not to leave anything in the car. That made us wonder about the security of the property.

Great Wheelchair Accessible King Room in Beautiful Tahoe City Location

There was nothing that we didn't like! Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet.

The Inn at Boatworks is located in Tahoe City on the west side of Lake Tahoe. We loved the location because it had plenty of dining options within walking distance and was also close to the bike/walking trails that go around the lakeshore. We requested a wheelchair accessible room for my husband who is a bilateral amputee. One of our biggest challenges while traveling is finding accommodations that are truly wheelchair accessible. Keeping in mind that everyone has different physical abilities, here is what we experienced in Room 8, which is their wheelchair accessible king room. This room had plenty of space for my husband to maneuver around the side of the bed in his manual wheelchair. The bathroom was spacious, with room to roll comfortably under the sink, adequate grab bars near the toilet and a huge roll-in shower that had an easy-to-reach handheld shower head as well as an overhead showerhead. This room included a refrigerator and microwave oven, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was very clean. We would definitely stay here again on our future trips to Lake Tahoe.
