Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe room was a bit smaller than I was excepting but that’s kinda on me. I was also expecting it to be more like a hotel than a air bnb but it was cool I just wish it was advertised a little different so it’s not so confusing looking for a hotel building and seeing a house.
It was cute and the app was cool to have so you don’t have to worry about keeping track of a room key or anything like that. The bed was comfy and shower was lovely. It’s not far from anything so it was easy to explore the city and a very quick commute to the train station which was incredible

United StatesThere wasn't a bit of counter space in the bathroom so it made it hard to get ready. A mirror or small vanity mirror on the desk would be really nice to be able to do makeup.
The room was funky and the bed was very comfortable. Check in was simple and straight forward.

United StatesThey are not very flexible in terms of customer service. Although they said they operate 24h customer service, their response typically takes a few hours in chat, and they often do not take our calls.
I liked the cleanliness and space of the room itself. Complimentary teas and foods were so nice. We also appreciate that they could look after our luggage for half a day after we checked out. Overall, it met my expectations for the price

United StatesThe location is ok, only. Given, it is upbeat and accessible; it is just that Sea-Tac airport traffic is so bad — it is loud and noisy overhead! The planes were nonstop for 5-6 hours that much low overhead traffic did not allow me to sleep!
Soft pillow and mattress and good art and decor. Heated towels and tea/coffee amenities were a nice touch. Great tv!

CanadaIt was really cold and the heat maxed out at 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Had I known it would be so chilly, I would’ve brought my own space heater.
Location and on-site parking. Easy to enter the room via the app. The bed was super comfy.

MexicoAt our arrival we didn’t had shampoo or soap; there was a banana lying on the chair, which was really weird. They do not clean your room unless you ask them to, and it’s fine, but we stayed here for 7 days and requested for the room to be cleaned twice, we didn’t had that second room cleaning though. The good part is they were in constant contact with us and would reply almost immediately. They also offered us free drinks for all the inconveniences.
The location was unbeatable, it took from 15 to 30 minutes to get to most of the touristic sites. There are a lot of nice places to take coffee and eat meal, specially the Peloton Cafe, crossing the street which offers a lot of vegan options.

AustraliaThe sheets were all wrinkly and didn't smell fresh. I didn't see any stains, but I like my hotel sheets to smell like they just came out of the dryer and feel nice and crisp. I've heard too many stories about hotels not changing the sheets between guests. Maybe it's the type of sheets they use or the laundry soap. The toiletries weren't labeled, so you had to guess what each one was. There was no hot water, just a coffee machine. A microwave would have been nice too.
Beautiful decor, easy check-in, great location, AC working great, bottled water and the fridge.

CanadaCheck in was not so smooth. One side of the bed is definitely slept on more than the other. I slept in the middle to avoid the concave. Orange Pekoe tea would be nice. Mint, not so much.
Quaint. Quiet. Excellent pillows. Nice hot water.

GermanyThe double bed in our room could not be considered a bed! The mattress was just a huge piece of 6 inch, green foam. It had no support and if you have back problems like I do, the three person suite is to be avoided at all costs until they get a real bed in that main bedroom. My back started aching severely after five minutes and I had to stack the ultra hard pillows (luckily there were four, so I could take two for my back) under my back and shoulders. It was one of the worst attempts at sleeping I have had in a long time. Since it is a no contact hotel, which in itself is OK...the hotel/stay loses some of its charm.
In general, a very nice, small hotel/inn in an old house near Seattle University. Lots of restaurants/bars/cafes fairly close by (walking distance). The rooms are nicely decorated and everything is clean. The check-in with the app works great and communication thru the app is fine, too.

United StatesThe noise from the main street. Even though ear plugs were offered, it was very noisy.
It was very cute and artsy. Coffee was really good, and it was located fairly close to everything I needed for my trip. Free parking is always a bonus, especially in Seattle.

CanadaThe beds are FAR TOO SOFT. terrible for sleeping. Back bad hip pain for both guests. The TV remote doesn’t do anything except turn the TV on and off. The bathroom door is semi broken and gets stuck and is very noisy. The toilet flush nose is very loud and wakes people up. We were unable to turn the room temperature above 61F (COLD!!!!). We were told room 1007 but actually the room number is 007 and is hidden behind a door which says Secret Room. The neighbourhood felt a tiny bit sketchy from the direction we arrived. Though it was a quick streetcar to downtown.
