Had to drive to find other places to eat meals other than breakfast which was good except there was no air conditioning option for eating.. the beach was great and renting chairs and an umbrella was really easy to do..it was nice to walk out to the shore and have the chairs waiting…I think the food was the only negative for us..a plus for breakfast and a negative for lunch and dinner..

Bed were not comfortable and the beds were right on the floor and the bathroom were small my wife didn't have no where to store her makeup air conditioner was loud no vent fan in bathroom you could look up at the ceiling and see moisture on it

On the first morning I went to take a shower and within seconds I noticed the water pooling. I wonder when the staff clean don't they run the shower to wash off the cleaner, and if they did they should have noticed. That said, the maintenance staff after I reported this to the front desk came very quickly to fix the drain. But in doing so they did not close the door to our room, as the door needed to be pulled shut firmly as it did not close on its own, so anyone could have entered our room. Also, I understand that maintenance staff would not clean the shower but I feel that housekeeping should be notified when it was fixed and come clean the shower as there was residue from the water and soap not draining after my shower. Also I am not sure if they used a chemical to clear the drain, so that should have been thoroughly cleaned. Also we had a patio room on the first floor room 100 and being in the South it was like 100 degrees and we really could only use the patio at night and to dry our bathing suits during the day, so I suggested to the staff when I received a survey that adding some sort of shade like an umbrella would make that area more useable. When I suggested this the staff comped us an umbrella and chairs on the beach which was very nice of them. One more thing that was somewhat annoying was that our room was right near a storage area for I believe beverages for the Tiki bar and early in the morning it was noisy with the door being slammed and other noises. Even with all of these things I would return.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I loved the pool area and the Tiki Bar. We rented bikes through the Tiki bar, I think and that was really fun!

The restaurant, The Porch and the Tiki Hut, wasn’t worth the money. The drinks weren’t good for adults or kids (my kids didn’t even touch their frozen drinks after they tried it) nor was the food worth it. The shrimp was popcorn shrimp from Walmart. We spent over $80 on nothing (appetizer 4 frozen drinks). We had to go to a local restaurant in town (which was worth it). The room we had was attached to another room so it wasn’t comfortable. But other than this, it was great. We would book there again.

This resort was at a great location, walking distance to stores, bike rentals, and so much more. The staff at the hotel were so nice, other than the servers at the Tiki Hut. The server acted like she didn’t want to serve us and it wasn’t busy the hour we went - 3pm. The pool was nice and its beachfront. There is a walkway toward the beach with swings, chairs, bathrooms, splash pad, and changing areas that was so nice. Allys coffee was great! Overall the stay was great other than the restaurants at the resort. We would go again.

Elevators weren't always working. Door lock out of battery, ground floor entrance into rooms was sandy, and food could have been better in the Tiki Hut. Need better selection of higher end liquor in Tiki Hut too.

It was a little dated. The kids didn’t care for the bunkbeds much. A little weird setup… but for 2 nights, it wasn’t bad.

Beach chair reservation through the hotel gets u chairs in between the volleyball court and the restaurant (does have full service bar), but far from ocean. So if want closer to ocean (no service) reserve through life gaurd staff.

The beds/mattress could be updated. They seem worn down and not very comfortable. Some rooms had carpet and others didn’t which was strange. The shower heads did not have good water pressure at all. The ice machines need to be in an enclosed area because it is very loud and disturbing in the hallway and the rooms have very thin walls. We could hear every single sound in the hallway. One of the rooms also had a microwave but the other rooms I booked didn’t have one. I had to go downstairs to ask a staff member in the lobby to heat up some leftovers I had. One of the elevators was also not working and broke down twice.

I loved that the there were food and drink options on site and that the tiki hut was on site as well.
