The coffeemaker was broken, tub stopper didn’t work so couldn’t take bath, curtains didn’t close. Called hotel and they answered “hello” instead of with the business name, male didn’t answer my questions right, as if there was a language barrier, and there was a lot of background noise. When I told people where I was staying, they said “that dive? That’s where the police house child molesters!” So I was concerned about my safety as there was a lot of traffic in and out and I’m a smoker so would smoke outside or in my car and I didn’t feel safe. Plus my door squeaked really bad so I couldn’t go out as much as I wanted as I was afraid of disturbing people in next room

Bed was beyond firm. Unfortunately a rough sleep. Deadbolt to hallway barely secured into door frame. Tub had no drain stopper and when tried to fill tub shower head leaked and sprayed water. Would be nice to have more towels instead of one set. Under bed was dirty.

The Crossroads was conveniently located for our stay. Staff was polite. Excellent parking right outside our door. Nice and quiet. Rustic charm

I really did not appreciate the blaring bright light on the garage in the back. I understand you may need to see , but seriously put a less bright bulb in there and add some kind of lamp shade type thing . Also perhaps have it on a motion sensor so it is not on the entire night.

GReat old fashioned ma/pa type roadside motel. New owners are doing a great job - please keep it up. Maintain the cleanliness and quaintness of this place. Keep up on repairs and replacements and it will be a great place for years to come. They do accept pets and have a nice grass and tree area in the back with kids climbing toys and tables.

I paid a way over inflated price due to it being a concert weekend. Under no circumstance is this place worth $200+ night if there is not a concert going on at Alpine. Their pricing seems to reflect this and be in-line with the value of the stay on days without events at Alpine. I felt a little rushed in the morning to vacate but it was a busy weekend and I'm sure they were trying to flip the rooms.

The best part of this motel for me was the proximity to Alpine Valley. It is less than 7 miles away and I was able to get to Alpine and back from the show in under 20 minutes both times (and i stayed through the encore). The motel is charming and rustic.

When I booked the rooms, I thought I was booking 2 king size beds for EACH room. There was only one king bed in each room. Also there was a strong smell of men's cologne in the hall, I did not like that & avoided the hall as much as possible.

The rooms had doors directly to the outside thereby avoiding us having to carry things throught the main door & halls. It was easy access to the parking.

The worker walked in my room after I was settling in to put a box of kleenex in my room but I've never had someone walk in my room after ive paid for it . And he was very rude when I told him I didn't appreciate him coming in my room. I had to barcade my door to feel somewhat comfy
