We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomDecor is very tired and shabby. Hallways are extremely dark. The pool is tiny and the area around it very wet with puddles. The photographs in the listing are misleading and make the pool and interior of the hotel look much larger than they are. The room was very noisy even with the window closed. The bathroom is very small.

United KingdomThe room was slightly dated with wallpaper coming away from the wall. The phone didn’t work so had to go to the lobby when wanting to talk to staff re room issues. Only 1 channel on the TV - channel 3. The lifts took sooooo long to come. My room key stopped working a number of times, not major issues but annoying and inconvenient. The light was so dark down our corridor that we couldn’t even see the door handle. The lofts took far too long! All minor inconveniences but all together quite annoying for the cost of the hotel

United KingdomThe safe didn't work, and the engineer couldn't fix it. The aircon controll unit was hanging out, and did not cool the room down. The lighting was poor.
The location of the hotel was excellent. The size of the room with it's 2 beds was fine and were comfortable. The bathroom had all that you needed. Staff were helpful. The free bottles of 500ml water were needed. The 10% discount at the local diner is a must visit, suberb food. Roof top pool is tiny, but the roof top bar was fab. Didn't get a chance to see or use the gym. Door men were very kind.

United StatesWhat I did not like about the property is that our window shades did not work so we slept with the window shade up.The pool was only opened until 7 pm and it is a very small pool, and how to get to the pool was a little complicated.
I liked that it was a great location. It was easy to get to the subway, Central Park and many things close by to enjoy.

Given I was travelling with. 3 year old, the pool was more relevant and we were disappointed when we went up for a swim shortly after 7. Otherwise staff were good. The room had too much street noise.

United KingdomIt’s lovely to have access to a pool and roof terrace with drinks but it is not open 24/7 and not always opened on time at the published time which is extremely frustrating (also sometimes closed due to maintenance etc). Also don’t really understand some of the rules eg you can’t sit at some of the tables or take drinks to the poolside. The other issue is that the room key cards have a tendency to stop working at least once most days, they must be very sensitive to magnetic/ electric devices, so we had many wasted trips upstairs only to find the card wasn’t working, have to go back down to reception, queue up for new card etc…. I don’t mind this occasionally but honestly it became too frequent and staff didn’t really seem that apologetic. The hotel really needs to improve these things.

SingaporeHonestly, very overpriced for what you get. Other than the lobby, everything needed work in the hotel. Rooms were generally not clean in every corner, toilet was not the super clean you’d expect in a hotel kind of clean. Beds weren’t that comfy. Windows were super dirty on the outside so we didn’t really get much view even though we were on the top floor. You’re basically paying for a location, not a great value hotel. Wouldn’t really stay here again.
Location was great. Very near the subway and walking distance to many things, especially a great area of Central Park. Staff were very friendly, professional, and very willing to help out. Ariel was an amazing help and great service. Great that the hotel could accommodate 6 people in a room. Didn’t like that the toilet door was translucent.
