Loved the place, able to put up with cost, so will return.

Carpet old. Cost was not something ordinary families will bear easily, so the mission of having the park accessible for most Americans will not be met with these prices. Breakfast and other items pricey, even considering location. Front desk staff least extending of all staff, not the best first impression.

Breakfast was good. Grounds were terrific, safety and quiet were wonderful. Setting, recreation availability was very good. Room was very clean, booking process was easy.

We arrived after the sunset on the nearby sunset spot, checked in, and then discovered the restaurants were no longer accepting diners! Except the buffet restaurant, which was not good quality food, but passable.

The property was really an Oasis in the desert. We appreciated the gardens and the pool area very much.

Breakfast buffet wasn’t great value for money.

Awesome location especially for touring Death Valley National Park. Room was clean and comfortable. Parking was easy. Hotel grounds were nicely maintained and spacious. Facilities were plentiful, eg swimming pool, areas to relax, restaurant and bar, gift shop.

The noise of the air conditioner was too much, especially from adjacent rooms. My main problem, as a vegetarian, was that there was very little on offer in the restaurants or in the shop.

The location and the layout were excellent.

No way to drive your car to the room so we had to drag our stuff to/from the parking lot, it was quite inconvenient; Pool was not cleaned, the bottom looked quite dirty and for a nice place like that you pay top dollar, it would be so much better had they cleaned it fully.

It is a nice oasis. We stayed at the cottages and that was nice with the living room space separate from the bedrooms. Felt very nice. Might be work upgrading to cottages instead of regular rooms. Pool water temps were great so you can take a swim in the evening hours and enjoy it. Close driving distance to any famous spots in Death Valley. Saloon food was better than expected. Based on reviews, I expected the worst and it was not bad. Enjoyed the ribs and very crispy fries.

There were a couple of nice people, but most of the staff were super rude. The restaurants and shops service was slow and unfriendly.

We found a cockroach in the room and the room was generally looking a bit tired and in need of a refurb. The price per night didn’t reflect the quality of the room.

Great location to make a pit stop through Death Valley to Las Vegas. Great steak at the saloon bar.

The photos show a nicer property, rooms and pool. The rooms are older and not as clean as in the pictures. The pool was closed for monthly cleaning, which was not advised to us until check in.

Service in restaurants was pretty poor, staff weren’t that interested in helping and food options were very limited. We couldn’t get booked into the grill for the first night and could only get in at 8:30 the second night. The options that were left on the limited menu were expensive and nothing on offer for vegetarians. Quite disappointing.

Great location, fairly decent rooms, amazing views. Staff on reception and in shop were helpful and friendly.

Room Cleanliness-Room was dirty (old candy in corners, someone’s chapstick on the floor). It was obviously not vacuumed. We also saw a cockroach in the halls of the building we were in (700 building). Room/building The room was somewhat run down and neglected. Handles in entry door was falling off. Bathroom door had some sever paint peeling and chipping, more than simple wear and tear.

Hotel Grounds-This hotel is absolutely gorgeous, super cute and fun to take a stroll around. Lots of amenities (Bocce, Shuffle Board, Pool, Playground, restaurants, shops). Location-It’s so nice to be able to hike with family until sunset and have a place to stay right where you are. We were also able to go stargazing at Harmony Borax Works at night because of how close we were.

I was in the 800 building and I could hear everything going on around me. I don’t know if it was a guest or house keeping but the room above us sounded like they were going to fall through the ceiling from 5am until we left at 8am! 😡

The staff was wonderful, the grounds are beautiful and I loved having all the amenities right there. I truly loved the little patio off the rooms!!!

My TV wasn’t plugged in and then didn’t work. The Ranch did offer to have an electrician but we were only there for a weekend. We also were in building 9 next to golf course and horses. We could really sit on porch in room or keep porch open since smelled like horses and horse poop.

Property was large with a nice pool, outdoor museum and restaurants. Nice general store with great places to sit outside.
