The hallways and elevator seemed outdated. Not enough souvenirs in the store. The tub drain wasn’t working. So when I took a shower, the tub would fill up so I had to hurry up my shower before the water filled up the floor of tub.

It was right beside the beach. The balcony was spacious.

King sized mattress was awful - sunk in the middle of bed We feel this is unacceptable for the price we paid for the room. Lady at front desk said they put new seally king mattress in all the applicable rooms just 3 weeks ago; so why did our bed feel like 25 years old. Also, horrible smell in the hallway on 3rd floor and only slightly in our room. Front desk lady said there was someone coming to check the septic leak. We suggest that if you do stay here wear a mask in the hallway and keep door closed, then you’ll be fine.

Location was great. Had access to a tiny private beach. The ladies at the front were friendly.

Checking in, the personnel was a bit indifferent and looked fed up - would appreciate smiling a bit and giving me focused attention instead of chatting with other workers about something else at the same time. That said, I was able to check in early which was greatly appreciated. Not very many choices at breakfast, eg. eggs would have been great.

The private small beach and pier were great! The room had excellent amenities - big fridge and freezer, microwave, coffee maker. The room was very clean. A small supermarket and some other shops were within walking distance.

Can't think of anything negative to say except that I had planned on an early check in (around 2 pm) and when I arrived my room wasn't ready. That was the first time this happened and I was surprised. I need to add though that to their credit, they were in the process of putting new mattresses in all the rooms!

Been here many times before and will definitely come again. Love the location. You can, literally, walk to several bars, restaurants and the beach. I get to the hotel, park my car and forget it until I leave the next day. Just what I'm looking for, a relaxing night away and that is exactly what I get. The staff is friendly, accommodating and always smiling!

No problems, As I said, the issues have been taken care of.

This was my seventh straight year of taking some vacation time at this hotel and visiting family I have in the area. My first four stays were great. The next two had issues involving room keys, housekeeping and the pool and jacuzzi area in the back. I still liked this hotel and decided to come back. I had another great stay just like the first four. They obviously listened when I brought these issues up in my last two reviews. The problems have clearly been fixed. As always, I love relaxing out on the dock and the beach at night out back, The water temperature in the pool was the best it ever was since I have been coming here, the hotel was as usual quiet when it's supposed to be. The hotel is in an excellent location as there are plenty of beaches, parks and good places to eat nearby. I had a very nice relaxing stay here just like I use to. Like I have said in the past, you know you had a great stay when you hate the fact that your checkout time is approaching. If all goes well, I hope to return again next winter as I really enjoyed this stay as this hotel made a nice comeback for me by fixing the problems of the past.
