The pool looked dirty and not very inviting

Decent hotel. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We loved the balcony with river views.

The beds were too soft. The curtains were ripped and the recliner was worn out and the fan in the bathroom did not work. We had problems with the key cards resulting in several trips a day to the front desk. The second room we stayed at the locks were the problem and the vanity sink was very slow to drain.

The room on the river was amazing! So peaceful and beautiful! The front desk and all the staff were very cheerful and helpful.

The tv remote battery was dead but we were able to get batteries to put in it. There was no fridge or microwave. The carpet had a few stains.

The breakfast was okay, I wish there had been bacon or sausage along with the scrambled eggs and more choices of fruit. The room was large and clean.

Took me 3 non functioning keys (had to walk back and forth to the front desk every time) to finally get into the room. Came back from dinner and had to get a new key again. There were spiders in the room when I arrived. When people walked on the floor above my room. It sounded like they would just fall right through, so creaky!

Like in most motels the heater is located so the air blows right on you. O know its can't be helped, but it does interrupt your sleeping when it comes in. Everything else was fine.

Only gripe was there is still smoking at this hotel. Since it is older it likely doesn't have the ventilation system in place the takeout a lot of residual smoke smell. So, we left feeling like we had a coating of smoke on us.

The location was perfect for walking a little way into the downtown area. The staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations and we over all felt very safe here with a well-lit parking lot.

Needs to be more protein options at breakfast. There are too many folks with blood sugar issues that cannot have the MANY choices of carbs. Especially because there are limited restaurant options in Salmon.

Facility was pet friendly but would not allow pets on the back areal of the hotel.

Breakfast was good-nothing fancy. The location was awesome. It sat right on the beautiful Salmon River with great walking path and running area for our dogs.

It’s not this property I don’t like, it’s the piling on of 3 different Idaho state and local taxes that probably stress the business as much as budget-minded travelers.

No grandkids this year, but we’ve enjoyed the pool. The free breakfast is good, and in a nice room. Roomy parking, pleasant staff, comfortable and secure rooms.

Better communication between Booking.com and the hotel reservation system would have avoided the stressful checking in situation.

There was confusion over our booking. Booking.com had not cancelled our first night as requested and a double payment had been taken from my bank account. Erin on reception sorted it all out for us authorising a refund and finding the room we had requested with a riverside view.

Hot tub not available.

Disappointed not to be assigned a river view room, also that hot tub was out of action. Breakfast was OK.
