Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesDidn't think the bar/restaurant should have pre-added a 22% tip to their bill. It's over the top for a place that still smells like new carpet. It was just the two of us, not a large party. Either side of the bed had an odd mat with a hard rubber border that you could stub an unwary toe on glued to the floor.
The pool is really well thought out. Inside and outside seating make for a lovely afternoon if the sun is too hot, or if it rains. The hotel is new, so everything is in pretty good shape. The toiletries were better than average. The slippers were a nice touch. They will learn not to allow glassware poolside at some point, I'm sure. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and full of advice for the area.

United StatesStunningly beautiful and deluxe - it felt a bit like staying at the Ritz! The staff was very friendly and very interested in our stay, making sure we had a good experience. Some minor, soft-opening bumps, but the owner and staff were proactive about feedback and were focused on making sure any issue was ironed out. It’s surely a five star hotel with an inn-keeper level of personal focus. The pool, firepit and restaurant were lovely, too. Every item seemed carefully chosen and thought out, from the towels to the furniture and more. We enjoyed our stay very much!

United StatesHousekeeping inconsistent. I had to continually ask for room cleaning. However, my main complaint is about an incident that occurred the first day: Check in process was ruined by staff waking us up the first night and telling us, incorrectly, that our credit card would not process. This spoiled our whole vacation. Staff insisted that we give them another form of payment after our credit card company informed them that the technical problem was in their computer system, not our credit card. The clerk eventually called her manager to give her explicit instructions on how to process our card. There was no need to wake us up for this, we had already paid for our first night a month before. Plus, we had been registered and given the keys hours before this, so a phone call waking us up at 10:30 was doubly alarming and stressful. I was so upset I was initially unable to communicate to the credit card company why I was calling them. This is no way to treat 2 elderly ladies on vacation. Incidentally, I emailed the hotel to ask for the manager's name so I could report this privately but received no response.

United StatesIt was noisy between the floors. It marketed on booking.com as soundproof. The constant foot steps and noise coming from the floor above was enough to keep you up each night.
The pool was nice being an inside and outside pool. The hours of the pool being cutoff at 5 pm for kids was a little ridiculous.

United StatesThe hotel restaurant was a disappointment: Manhattan prices for mediocre or poor food. I had planned to have breakfast on their patio every day, for example, but quickly realized the food was not up to par. I did not try the Japanese restaurant on site.
A small, upscale resort-style environment in the Poconos. The outdoor seating and pool area were very comfortable, and the room was well-appointed with higher-end details—memory foam pillows, thick towels and robes, a nice hair dryer, etc.

United StatesStaff was sterile. They forgot to make our dinner reservation. When I went to restaurant they put us outside. Smell of marajuana was in the environment. It also was in the elevator. It seemed like a classy place; though wasn’t. It was a very expensive dinner. The food was mid. My daughter was GI sick by 3 am. Not sure it was directly related. The hospitality piece was missing.
It was clean and pretty

United StatesExperience upon arrival was not good. Person at front desk was not friendly and moody. Very loud stomping above our room late night/early morning, did not get much sleep. When asked for housekeeping to come in and clean/empty trash/ make bed they did not. Had to call for them to bring towels and replenish other items.
Beautiful esthetics, food was good, bed is very comfortable.

United StatesThought the hotel would better situated in the Poconos, back in the wood/hills, it was right off a busy road when I pulled up the first thing that came to my mind was this is no better than a Holiday Inn Express, very disappointed, when you think of the Poconos quite/relaxing/romantic away from the Hustle and bustle this place is not it.
Other than the location it was just ok

United StatesThe hotel needs continued service refinement since its recently opened in June 2024 as we understand. During checkin, we not notified as the room readiness as committed to by the front desk staff. The service in the Olivet restaurant both for breakfast and dinner was very slow. We noticed the same staff working dinner shift and breakfast shift. The food was average, small portions and not well presented.
The location of the hotel was conveniently situated and accessible. The availability of the pool and outdoor space was nice.

United StatesLocation was not what I expected. My fault for not looking at Street View first, but I assumed from photos that it was on a mountain with great views or something. Their website and IG photos are artfully cropped to make it appear this relaxing, where in reality it's smack dab on a major highway and not a good vibe outside of the hotel. The exact same hotel on a mountain or at least surrounded by some trees, would feel like a much better place. The QR codes in the room didn't work. My friend wished that there was more information in the TV menu guide, like hours for the restaurants and wineries. The room had beautiful accents of wood, but the wooden slats disguising the wall air intake vents were SO dusty. I'm allergic to dust so I was worried seeing that. The nightstands on either side looked like they had many outlets for plugging my phone in, but the first one I tried, the plug wouldn't go in. I tried another, and it wouldn't go in either. A third also didn't work!? I took a closer look with my flashlight, and turns out the contractor did a shoddy job of building the nightstands, and the outlet holes were not lined up correctly to the outer material's holes. I could literally see that they were a quarter inch askew. I got a $21 drink by the pool (worth it tbh- see my photo) and it came with the shaker. But I was warned that I had to really hold the top down before pouring more into my glass, because it would fall off otherwise, and "we've needed to order new shakers since they've been broken from the beginning." So they've been offering this drink in a broken shaker for over 2 months? Eek. Things like this confirmed my feeling that this is a 3-star hotel striving to be a 5-star hotel. I say striving because at least they are trying, and receptive to comments, and in their defense they had only been open for like 2.5ish months when I stayed.
I liked the decor in the room and lobby, the works by local artists are a nice touch. The pool was very nice although definitely not heated to 95 degrees like the website claims. It was actually frigid but we only had a couple hours to enjoy it and didn't want to complain when it was probably just temporarily borked. The suite's bathroom looked stunning, but man water just got everywhere with the design of the shower. There's nothing to contain the water... felt like a major oversight. And I was surprised to see the same dinky little hair dryer that's at every hotel, given the luxurious feel (and price) of the hotel. I've been at cheaper hotels with nicer hair dryers. The morning staff while we were checking out (incl. the owner who said hello) were much nicer and what I'd expect from a high quality resort than the evening staff when I checked in.
