Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesToo much noise all night from vehicles out front on the street. The floor was dirty- much dirt showed from my feet when I got into the shower!

United StatesHorrible PARKING! little to no parking. Had to park on street 3 blocks away 1 night, and squeeze into 1 parking space being used to store old matress and trash the next night. Some people park in two spaces, which are tiny to start with. Also, 1 bed was stiff as wood.
No carpet in the rooms. 1 bed was comfortable. Fridge/micro/coffee in room. Shower was hot.

United StatesThe room smelled like stale smoke (one of my criteria when booking the room was non-smoking). The elevator was scary (we were on the 4th floor). There appeared to be several long-term renters there. The window screen was torn and the curtains were dirty - I had wanted to leave the window open with the fans on to air out the smell, but it didn't feel safe to do so. The mismatched, old furniture, and the walls were nicotine-yellowed, and the floors felt sticky (I kept my shoes on). Overall, it just felt dirty in that room...
The beds were comfortable and had clean linens. There was good water pressure and the tub drained well while showering. The women at the front desk were nice.

United StatesThe property was in desperate need of major renovation. This is Travelodge not a Hilton or Marriott so our expectations were not high but the condition of the motel showed signs of age and heavy use. It looked like it had been many years since the place was renewed.
My Room was acceptable but the room my sister had was unusable due to a smoky smell. The manager did a great job addressing our concerns and refunded us for that room. The staff was good at getting us registered and answering questions. The cost of the room was very affordable. The location was so close to the University of Nevada that we could easily walk there.

United StatesThe location on one of the main streets of Reno invites noise. Loud hotrods and partying in the streets are beyond the control of the hotel, but are nevertheless a detraction from the overall value of the property for getting a good nights' sleep.
The rooms had modernized features, for example excellent lighting and an attractive sink. The microwave oven was useful for reheating coffee.

United StatesWe got room for $44 the 1st 2 nights. Attended my son's dad's funeral. Family plans changed so we stayed another night and they would not do 44 again. It was 64! It was middle of the week and they were not booked up. Rooms were old but could be nice still, if they cleaned better. They are not friendly at front desk at all. Worst of all there ice machine was dirty and there was a bug froze in my ice! No fridge so had to use ice. I would not have minded so much about paying more if they would have accommodated us at all. Offered no more towels or coffee on 3rd night. Ran out of toilet paper. Office was locked so could not get more. Courtesy and a welcome would go along ways if you lack in cleaning and have filthy ice.

United StatesFellow travelers could get a little loud/rowdy but not for long periods of time or after hours. A few salty characters around the perimeter but that's not on the hotel. You just need to keep your wits about you.
Not for everybody but my room was clean and comfortable. Everything is basic, including the shower which drained slowly. I wasn't in my room all that much.

CanadaThey photographed our driver’s license and kept that copy. We were not at all happy about that. No real reason given other than that was the way the receptionist was taught and the copy of the driver’s license goes to the owner of the hotel.
