Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaWish parking garage had discount linked with the hotel stayers. The Terrace was not opened at night and I wanted to sit and chat with co-worker, loved the solitude and intimate vibe in the Terrace. But I was told, it’s only open during breakfast time.
I loved the vintage charm and modern touch in the hotel. Love the location right in the city! Breakfast was okay.

United KingdomThe breakfast is included which is a small tick but the options were very limited, plain bagels and Ferme cheese no fruit, yoghurts or cereal and it was often served in the lobby and balanced on laps!
The location is awsome super accessible to all areas or city and easy to and from the airport. The room was clean and comfy if on the smaller side.

United States of AmericaWe loved that the hotel had a wine/beer happy hour where people gathered in the late afternoon in the lobby. Ditto for croissant/bagel breakfast in the morning. Above and beyond! Really a nice touch and one I hope they will keep.

United States of AmericaThe Wifi was a little complicated to access and did not work on an older phone. The windows only open about 2 inches and there is no ventilation or fans in the bathroom.
Located in the city center right next to Chinatown, this hotel is the perfect starting point for exploring the city. Lots of restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There was also a happy hour in the lobby from 4-6 with complementary drinks!

Location was great - right across from Dragon Gate and an easy walk to Union Square and North Beach. We were there the night of the New Year parade, and even though the hotel was full, it was very quiet.

GreeceNOT a value for money. Too small room with payed queen's bed for 320$ per day.We have travelled all around the world and this is too much for such a room with no efforts at all,not even a window. When you book the room,it says "breakfast included" This is a cheat for that was not a breakfast at all.

United States of AmericaOur TV wasn't working correctly because the chromecast was evidently missing, and they were unable to resolve it during our stay. It wasn't a super big deal, though.
Very cool vibe right across the street from China Town. There was a nice cocktail hour and a quick grab and go breakfast included! The room was super cute and most of the staff was very helpful and friendly.

LuxembourgThe receptionist wasn't really motivated, we literally had to draw any information out of his nose / mounth. He even sent my wife to another hotel to post a postcard, why couldn't someone from the hotel staff post it in the mailbox just around the corner, or tell us that there was a mailbox? The hotel should use less disposable plates, cups, knives and forks.
Location is great, close to China Town. The room was sufficiently big and modern. The reception area was nicely done and welcoming. We would again use this hotel. The area seems safe and clean. The complementary breakfast is free, but expect to sit on come chair in the lobby and not have a table.

United KingdomNot much! If I had to pick anything I would say the room was slightly on the small size, but this is being quite picky!
All the staff were very attentive and welcoming. Miranda was exceptionally friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely, clean and very peaceful. The happy hour (2 hours) was a very nice touch and created a community feel as guests would gather in the lovely foyer area and mix. The location was well placed to see San Francisco and not far from the Train station (about a 15 minute walk). All in all, this is a gem of a place.
