The renovations seemed to have been only a paint job. The sofa bed was very old and weary which made it uncomfortable for my kids. I was fooled by the 3 star rating on this site.

This location was a block away from the beach which was perfect. Staff was very accommodating and friendly.

The price point and free breakfast attracts a certain crowd and there were was a bit of unpleasantness. Breakfast space is crowded but it’s a nice offering if you’re traveling on a budget! The pool is way too small to utilize for adults!

The price was right and while the outside can use an update, the rooms have been modernized. They were clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly! Location is a block from beach, bike rentals and shops.

I feel I was misled by the name… It only said Surestay by Best Western nothing about Royal Clipper

I was disappointed …We always stay at a Best Western when traveling.I feel I was misled when I booked.Upon arrival we found out it was a Best Western Royal Clipper and not a true Best Western we were accustomed to. The price we paid for a night the facility should have been much better. I was disappointed to say the least but had no choice as I could not get a refund.I really felt like I had been robbed of the Best Western I was use to staying at. I will make sure in future bookings to make sure it’s a true facility I am use to staying at. I am glad I only booked one night … which served its purpose..a rest before my return home.

Parking could have been better. I was on my trip for a concert. We arrived after 11 pm and couldn't find any parking. Also, the bed was not as comfortable as it looked, very noisy with every movement you made throughout the night. Hard to stay asleep.

The room was clean upon arrival. I enjoyed the complimentary shampoo and body wash that was provided. The outdoor shower was a great use when coming back from the beach.

The staff. Booked on booking, and my sister drove separately because it was 3 adults. I checked us in, and asked for 2 parking passes and was told we couldn’t have more than one per booking because parking spaces were limited. The second day our room cards wouldn’t work, and my husband went to get them fixed, and someone told him that’s because our room expired and if we wanted to get in our room to get our stuff we would have to pay like $300. I booked it for 2 nights so I’m not sure where this came from. Luckily there was an older white man ( I can’t remember his name) who offered us a free night for our troubles( which we declined) and fixed the key.

Location was good, not a far walk from the beach. Our room was perfect for the amount of people. Was very shocked how much we all enjoyed the room. Full kitchen with stove, microwave, utensils, shampoo, body wash. Lots of space for luggage, and for our party. Might think about booking again, despite the staff.

Lots of tripping hazards both in the room and on the grounds, elevator kept getting stuck, only one ice machine on the first floor and we were staying on the fifth floor.

The noise above our room caused by kids running around and jumping all over the room. We didn’t have a good sleep and we slept around 4am.

Good location for the marathon. They let us stay later in order to come back and regroup.

It was infested with ants, my dinner was ruined, it was all over my food and on the desk, and crawling in tne restroom, the only accommodation they gave was moving me to another room. Not a gift card to replace my dinner or anything. Never again will I revisit.

Property was clean. Brian was wonderful before our stay. We checked in with him he made sure we were good to go because of the time we were expected to arrive was 2am. The room was affordable and clean. Quick walk to a lot of different places.

They could have offered a better slelection for breakfast like regular corn flakes, toppings for yougurt such as granola, raisins etc. The bed squeaked everyone you moved not certain if it was the bed fram or not.

The location was good but I thought I was going to be right on the boardwalk when I booked it. For that I was disappointed. Breakfast was very basic. No bread of any kind…
