Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesCleaning wise you will see a stain or two on the curtain. And maybe a little trash from the previous people. We stopped at a close by dollar tree for cleaning supplies to wipe down the headboard and bathroom to OUR liking. There is NO PARKING.
Loved the property for the price. No bad smells, I loved that. I brought a candle and didn’t even have to light it. Good privacy, I barely seen people on my floor besides them going in and out, no knocks no loud noises. They cleaned out room a little bit on the second day none of our stuff went missing. 🩷

United KingdomA microwave and cold drinks vending machine is available in the reception area. It would have been good to have access to tea/ coffee facilities. Even if it was just a kettle and disposable cup.
It was in walking distance to the subway.

United StatesThat was a hiccup in the beginning with my arrival time. My plane was delayed for hours And luckily I made sure I told them because I was told I would lose my room and the entire reservation. So if I would not have contacted them and gotten there late, which means after midnight the day I was supposed to check in they would have canceled my entire reservation for the 9 days!! I was so stressed and I was begging them literally on my knees to hold my reservation because I had to work the next day in the city. So that was very very stressful and it wasn't even my fault and I would have paid for the entire stay. Just come one day later. You better make sure you check with them. Also, it's kind of weird that you have to give $60 in cash when you in. Yes only cash. Which I got back at the end. Not sure what that was for. They usually put a hold on the card anyway. In the end it all turned out to be okay and reception staff was friendly after that. Also cleanliness of the beds, don't look to close....
I guess the price i like being close to Manhattan won't stop. And after a very upsetting initial start, the reception staff turned out to be pretty okay and accommodating as well. Thanks for that. ( I had a plane delay, so my arrival was delayed massively )

United StatesLack of sound proofing. There were also some security scares.
The room was comfortable and clean overall, it's definitely older but that's ok. The staff were kind. The noise is awful, this is where the older building becomes an issue as there was no sound barrier.

Lebanon15 not-most-pleasant walking minutes from Subway F, and the area where the hotel is is like industrial. Away from restaurants/supermarkets
Quiet, peaceful, clean hotel room, well equipped bathroom, friendly reception. Very good value for money, compared to the crazy hotel prices around NYC. Good place to stay for very few nights in Queens.

BrazilI stayed there for a few days. I was nervous because there was no microwave in the room, and I really needed one. The hotel has one microwave to serve the entire building. If you need kitchen utensils, like a plate, the hotel doesn't even have them to lend you. I asked twice for the sheets to be changed, and they seemed to be irritated, and not only did they not change the sheets, they also didn't clean the room or take out the trash.
The only good thing was the location, close to the subway.

United StatesThe AC did not work properly. You cannot control the AC from the room, it is operated by the hotel. It was a struggle to stay cool. Also I read while signing the form that visitors are not allowed in the room. It says guest must meet visitors in the hotel lobby. I was not happy about this because it was not listed anywhere in booking.com that visitors are not allowed in the room. I asked the staff and he said it’s two people per room. He said I can bring one person in. The property should change that on the form if visitors are allowed or make it known to booking so people can be informed.
The hotel was clean. The room was clean. The hot water works, the WiFi works, and I enjoyed watching the TV. The bed was comfortable. It’s very close to Manhattan, only 5 train stops to Times Square. I also like that the deposit was $60 and you pay it in cash and get it back in cash.

ChileThe cleaning staff
The receptionist was always in a good mood to help and he was very nice and accommodate everything, however the cleaning team was so insisting about just enter the room when I clearly said I didn’t want room service, the hotel is nice is well located like 10 minutes walk from station F, the bed was amazing but the bathroom lights kept going on and off every like 20’minutes without me touching them.

United StatesNoise level had the potential of being real bad but there might have been not many people there. Plus they insisted on a cash deposit. ATM charged a ton of money and there were no big name banks in the area.
No frills but super clean and surprisingly comfortable. Facilities were decent too.

United StatesSee above.
So I'm from Queens originally. It's a pretty clean, very basic hotel that provides a lot of value. If you don't care about small things, towels are clean, bed is clean, staff is competent, it's safe, and prices are very cheap. That's value for me. People who want extras should prob. avoid, but from basic perspective, top class.

United StatesThe location is a bit sketchy. Not really the fault of the hotel but it is me and my girlfriend stayed so that we could go see wicked on Broadway. It was cheap and a good place to spend the night but I wouldn’t walk around the block at night.
I have a phobia of bedbugs. When you’re staying here, you can rest a share that they were none and believe me I looked.

United StatesLocation...... too far a walk from the nearest train station at 21st Queensbridge. Not very accessible to public transit.
Courteous and helpful staff, especially Mr. ALI at the Frontdesk. He even lent me two OMNY train cards for our use. He was also very honest to give me a bottle of water which I forgot to retrieve from the vending machine.
