Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe main thing was the price. When you're paying over $1000 per room per night, the following things, while minor, probably shouldn't have been issues. First was the absence of any kind of breakfast. The hotel offered pretty decent discounts at local restaurants, but the lack of an included daily breakfast was disappointing, particularly given our experiences at resorts abroad. There was a coffee/croissant service on Saturday and there was a nespresso in the room, but that was it. Second, the valet service needs more staff. They were nice and polite, but at peak hours, you could wait up to 20 mins for your car, which would be parked in a dirt lot next to the hotel. At one point, I asked if I could just go get it myself (I wasn't allowed to). The hotel lacked a variety of pillows, so my partner had to fold up a towel inside a pillow case to put her head on to avoid neck pain in the morning. The last thing was the noise. The hotel provides a venue for weddings, which were pretty frequent in the peak summer season. The noise these generated occasionally disrupted our sleep, sometimes going on as late as 0100am. Double-(or triple-)paned glass could have helped. Again, at a normal hotel at the shore, these complaints are small potatoes (and par for life at the Jersey Shore), but at the price they were asking, the experience really needs to be flawless.
This hotel resort is probably the only one like it in the area that combines ease of access to the beach, beautiful views, and modern facilities with great and friendly service and discounts at various restaurants along the waterfront. My family loved our stay overall and was very satisfied with the services provided by the hotel, especially the beach chairs and umbrellas. We lucked out with beautiful weather along the shore, and I had a really memorable time at the beach with my family. The staff were very courteous and friendly and did their best to address any issues that came up.

United StatesNot very welcoming. Needs warmth and at the time we were there no restaurants were available. No food served on Saturday ( coffee and dry pastries were offered in lieu of breakfast in a table on a corner) The other days you could buy bagels on a fast food coffee connected to the hotel up to 4:00 pm. No room service. Nothing! Definitely not a resort!

United StatesPersonally I am very sensitive to AC and can't tolerate very cold temperatures indoors (I realize others have different preferences for this), however even after switching the AC off completely and having the balcony door open while we were in the room (except for sleeping), the room was still very cold despite being high 80s / low 90s outside. Fortunately the bedding was sufficient enough so sleeping wasn't an issue.
Location is amazing, staff is friendly and generally everything is just very convenient

United StatesSome rooms have only partial sea view / view on the city, but it is not explicitly mentioned in the description of rooms. During summer month the price for a room can be very high.

The property is gorgeous and location I could not be better, but it was not very well organized, the pool was dirty, towels for the beach were not in the shed on 2 days out of 4, no meal plans no child size bike - the hotel is welcoming children so that’s an omission. When m room Was cleaned clean towels were not provided I had to call 4 times before they were delivered. For service and amenities it is grossly overpriced.

United StatesCheck in was delayed by group arriving without reservation. The very patient and professional staff had to unfortunately waste a lot of time negotiating, back and forth, with a large family wanting an ocean view room they were not willing to pay for, nor did they review or reserve in advance. This is not an inexpensive stay. Perhaps an automatic check in kiosk would be helpful for those who have reserved well in advance. The restaurant and breakfast cafe were closed for several weekdays, including ours. This could be improved.
Terrific location with ocean view. Early morning sunrise a plus.

United StatesService of some staff was adequate at best. A bartender inside was very good providing hot water in carafe, yet others would not or could not provide any eating utensils for us to use in our room with our Togo food.
