Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesIt would have been nice to have coffee in the morning. We made some but we were not sure if we to use what we did.
Breakfast was not included. If we knew more about it we would have brought food to help us in the morning.

United StatesNo internet including tv. Although tv was not important. Seemed to be the internet provider issue.
Location and atmosphere were very welcoming. Use of a full kitchen, laundry, dining and living spaces. Microwave in room and a very cold refrigerator (best I've ever had in a room). Location, away from the busy downtown areas was a nice.

United StatesThe parking lot could be paved or a little bigger. Maybe make a parking lot on the other side of the house as it was very tight for a SUV.
It was clean and had everything I could ever beed on a vacation.

United StatesLocation was a bit away from the “action”, but it would have been ideal for someone going to visit the farms in the western part of the island.
It was a truly unique space. Beds were comfortable and enjoyed the badminton and soccer field in the backyard. great for a family.

United KingdomA few noisy residents from 5am in the morning, but guess that can’t be helped. Could do with another washing machine as never got to use it as it was always full. Room could do with a bit of a spruce up.
Greta location very near bus stop to get all around the vineyard. Outside seating was nice. Good facilities to prep and cook meals.

United StatesWe loved our stay at the West Tilsbury Inn! Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed — air conditioning, a private bathroom, fridge, and microwave. Keith was so kind and welcoming; he even texted us directions before we arrived. When we got there, he made us feel right at home and gave us a tour of the property along with some of its fascinating history. I highly recommend staying here!

United StatesI didn’t like the informal check in. As a woman alone coming in at night, it was very disconcerting to not be greeted and to have to reach out several times to ascertain the location of the room and other particulars. If it weren’t for the kindness of my Uber driver after he saw how isolated the property was and the fact that I would need to manage luggage on stairs alone, I would have been completely inconvenienced just trying to get in. I was told there was a number 4 on the room and it was unnumbered so very confusing. Then to learn upon arrival that there was no internet service, no Television service and very scarce cell service was maddening. Upon contacting the owner I was told that he had been trying to get the service reconnected after three days of it being out after an accident. I felt I should have been notified in advance that there was no Internet or television service available so I could make the decision if I wanted to be subjected to such an inconvenience. I know they hadn’t been changed because the rings around the curtain holders were all rusty! I was there on business and the lack of an ability to communicate with my business network was detrimental to my business concerns. I was stressed all night and couldn’t sleep due to this inability to send or receive urgent communications. Further, the condition of the bath/shower which had dirty plastic shower curtains hanging completely enclosing the tub rendering it impossible to shower without some of this plastic touching my body meant I wasn’t about to shower under those circumstances. So I had to get up at the crack of Dawn and walk dragging my luggage down to the town hall where I could use their Internet service so I could call an Uber to take me to my clients home where I had to ask to use a bathroom to take a shower and get dressed appropriately for my day. There was no bottled water in the room. Absolutely piss poor hospitality for $400!!!

BrazilThere was nobody to receive us , only a guy with a broken leg who couldn't show anything for us. And by the way he was not expecting us there, we need to show him our reservation email. We had just got married on the island and we got very frustrated. Also the air conditioner was very noise and wasn't cool enough for the weather that night. The bathroom is good, but the shower very small. We took the smallest room because the biggest was smelling weird. And in the morning thre was nobody there. Our reservation was supposed to have breakfast, but not. And really there was nobody there at least to say thank you. Very different from others reviews. I'm sorry for writing a bad one, but at our big day we didn't got a good service.
We liked that it was a very clean room, king bed as we asked for.

United StatesThe room was not in an inn as advertised, It was a room in a house. I was not sure if the common area was for guests or the people living in the house. I asked the specific questions to the host in a text, but the host did not answer the questions I had. The linens and towels are not hotel quality. There was only a 1/2 roll of toilet paper that had 2 bedrooms with 3 beds and no extra rolls. No coffee in the morning. We felt as if we had to be super quiet in someone else's home. If the common areas such as the kitchen, living room, or dining were for guests, it is cluttered with too much furniture. There are no signs or information that tell you if you can use common areas. The host did not reply with the answers to my questions.
It was a room in a house and someplace to sleep.

United StatesNot kept up well. Weeds everywhere outside peeking through the stairs. There was a chair behind the door when we opened the door to get in. There was no key for us. Owner said the last renter must have taken the key and it happened three times this week, so many people had a key to our place. Curtains were sheer and let all light, including car headlights, in. Decor outdated. Air conditioning not great. Place not really close to much good stuff on the island.
The main part of the inn was pretty enough. Room was clean.
