Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Interleading door needs soundproofing.
Lovely unit, interleading door with adjoining unit meant that we had a lot of noise from there. Floor mounted aircon vents are not sealed so all sort of creepies and crawlies were able to arise and wander around inside. However the unit was super clean, very comfy and well equipped. The pool is great and the surroundings are impeccable.

How old everything in the room looked really old and the tvs were very small.
The area looks so nice and relaxing. Our hotel room was pretty dated - bed still very comfy.

The decore was a bit dated and shabby. I killed a centipede in the bathroom. The rug was a bit worn. As this was the second time we stayed here I was rather upset that we had to stay again for the Timeshare sales pitch. My husband is I'll and we will not be doing any time in the future. We were staying here while our house in Williamsburg was being remediated following a water leak.
The bed was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well stocked.

The only reason I did not give a 10 rating was due to the squeaky floor boards from the apartment above. I am not sure how many guests were in the above apartment but the noise was unbearable when they were moving around. Thankfully after I notified the front desk there wasn’t another reservation booked for the upstairs apartment which made our stay very uncomfortable
First the front desk staff were very accommodating and pleasant with special thanks to Yadira. The accommodations were beautiful and exceptionally clean all in a quiet resort atmosphere.

no breakfast long wait to check in
took my granddaughter for her first sleep over away from her mom and dad. We had a great time and we felt safe and everything was clean and well kept. the heated pool was wonderful and clean. lots of fun!

Walls are so thin heard toddlers crying both days all day. Could literally smell what they cooked every day The kids constantly messed with the connecting door.

Stepped out of bed onto someone else's toe nail clipping, old cobwebs in corners low and high, tried to give timeshare pitch right away which felt awkward on check in
Lots of amenities on site, comfortable living space in the suite, newer building and furniture given the historic nature of the area, in suite laundry machine (didn't use), great location

After getting to my room found t v wasn't workingWhen tried to call the front desk to let them know the phone didn't work either. Had to go to the front desk by foot and let them. Maintenance came quickly to fix the t.V told him not to worry about the phone. After that, I was perfectly happy,

The carpets need updated! The last resort we stayed at in Williamsburg they had gas fireplaces. I was disappointed that the fireplace wasn't gas.
The location was good to colonial Williamsburg. The bed was comfortable.
