Nothing fancy, only stayed one night, but fell in love. Amazing views, peaceful vibes, great staff and good restaurant! Felt like home for the night.

We are a family of 6 so I understand that it’s hard to get a room to sleep 6 comfortably. If I had to pick on something I guess it would be that we could have used a little more space in our room to be able to move around the beds.

Just the distance from the park really, but the park is huge anyway so.. :)

Getting to wake up seeing the sun rising and get to pick up my cup of coffee is something I'll remember ! Same for the nice dinner I had with my wife looking the shoshone river while all the kids in the park where playing!

Bathroom door was hard to get in and out of. the meal was overpriced and just so so. No breakfast. Cabin very small. Had a hard time checking in, not sure if the staff was new or what. We were exhausted and he held up the whole line. Didnt really apologize for his mistake and making us wait so long. Older man.

Loved the grounds, we didn't have much time to enjoy it. it was a cabin, but very small.

My only complaint is bathtub very slippery at least in our room

Beautiful Motel, restaurant was very good. The scenery was beautiful. We stayed here for a couple days as we ventured into Yellowstone park, it is just about 20 minutes from Yellowstone but we did drive about 2 hours into the park to get to old faithful.

That’s completely personal preference but we just prefer firm beds over soft mattresses.

A lot of points for actual hot water in the shower. After whole day in Yellowstone works like magic. It was also really clean!

The A/C in the room wasn’t cooling the room at night and it felt hot.

We checked in on Monday and there was a strict 2-hour window to check in. (3-5pm) couldn’t find the ice machine although a beautiful ice bucket was provided. The bar, coffee shop and restaurant are closed on Monday 😞had to drive 15 minutes to the next town to eat but the food we found was delicious

The views of the riverbed and mountains were spectacular! The motel room was nicer than I expected based on the value.

Lack of curtains in the room (it can be a bit bright in the morning). But overall it's really ok and nice.

Location is great : 30min from Yellowstone, 15min from Cody. The place is great and charming. The restaurant, the bar are very nice. The shared area are clean and convenient.

The room had an odor. Not a horrible odor but not a good one either.

The property was absolutely gorgeous! If you open your patio door the rushing river sounds are so soothing. Not to mention the mountains surrounding the property.

Check in process was tricky and questions to the property were unanswered. Very noisy air conditioning.

Muffin and coffee for breakfast. Convenient for East Yellowstone and a beautiful drive there. Close to Cody for petrol and food.

We booked our room on short notice due to some last-minute changes and arrived late in the middle of the night. Staff deposited the key in a strong box and sent us the code, it couldn´t have been more convenient. We had some wonderful conversations with the owner and one of his employees who gave us extremely valuable tips about sights in the region! As always: people make all the difference! We can only recommend the Yelllowstone Valley Inn!

I loved everything about it. Wasn’t really sure what I was expecting from other reviews I read, but the rooms were adorable. If you are looking for a luxury spa, this isn’t for you, but if you love quaint and quirky you have it here. I only wish we had arrived earlier in the day to get to enjoy it more.

Would love to ha have a breakfast, but the pastry and coffe was a good starter before a full breakfast in Cody.

A good place to stay after a day in Lamar Valley, close to Cody which we visited the next day.

The fact that the restaurant was closed on a couple of evenings as there was no other near restaurant. The hotel sign could be lit at night as it is easy to miss when returning to the hotel after dark.

The food in the restaurant was good and the entertainer was very engaging and informative. The view from the lodge was great and it had a very rustic feel. Free parking.

The restaurant is closed two days a week and it’s several miles to Cody. Found a good restaurant in Wapiti
